Return of the King of the Cafe!
GNN, the Galactic News Network (popular in the GC and often available outside) was well into its' news day. The anchorman was half-way through recounting a story about the economy when a sheet was handed to him. He looked at it quizzically for a few moments.

"Uh... It appears, we have an unusual story to report. Not long ago, a New Coalition fleet carrying with it the various small communities of the state of Honoghr fled the planet after a huge Black Dragon Empire task force arrived. The Coalition has released a statement on the situation, saying that it will solicit diplomatic aide and support to fight this invasion, not force.

"Apparently the Black Dragon Empire released information where a fairly aggressive plan had been formulated to defend areas within their claimed territory. Fearing the implications involved in this, the Coalition forces stationed there were put on alert, and left quickly at the approach of the Black Dragon forces.

"More on these stories, as they develop. Uh..."

It was quickly pacified, and it seemed that order would have quickly been restored to the meeting had not a force of unidentified, out-of-date Coalition warships appeard and begun an attack.

Would not have been known to you IC, as it happened after the communications blackout.

Apparently the Black Dragon Empire offered to protect Coalition dignitaries in return for possession of the planet but were denied.

An OOC offer, as it happened over messanger and not posted in a Roleplay, Ill have you replace that section withsomething else.

If you have problems with my news piece, I advise we discuss this over AIM. Oh, and this is set after someone from the Vladet thing gets out of the blackout range so they can transmit the news. I'm assuming that someone will get away because it would be silly to say no one does.

Dolash, just report the attack on you... not the Vladet stuff... we can't be sure what happens.

I mean, for all we know in that thread the Cree Ar, Coalition and TNO join together in friendship and divide the galaxy three ways....

I appoligize for the stuff which happened. I misunderstood the first few replies and did not realize the grievious extent that this thread offended people. I hope you can forgive me and I have edited. I'm really sorry and I won't do anything like this again.
