Getting logged out when using the Portal - Communications - Forums

There seems to be a problem with the Portal, and staying logged in. I have managed to duplicate Slas' problem. Using the following steps, I am able to log myself out.

- Log in on Portal
- Visit forum
- Back to portal
- Post in Shoutbox
- Go to Forum

If you are able to log yourself out using different steps, or have problems staying logged in, please post a detailed description of the problem here and I'll take care of it.

I logged out again, this time after:

- Logging in at the Portal
- Posting this thread
- Going back to Portal

However, I only logged out of the Portal, not the forum.

I've narrowed it down, quite a bit.

- Go from forum to portal, logged out

I'll see what I can do to fix it.

Yeah , its still happening.

Well, at least to me...in fact I didn't even see the portal until tonite, lol

I start at the portal, then when I click onto the forums, I have to log in again, and when I do it defaults back to the Orange style.

...Also, not exactly on topic, but...

...whoever put the descriptions in the Sub-Forums for Vinda-Corp, spelt 'Ownage' wrong.

You must see the irony of this.

Please correct it, as I feel like a fool.

I think I may have found the problem. The link in the forum header sends you to "www.therebelfaction.com", but I personally have the forums bookmarked without the "WWW" part. I don't get logged out if I enter the URL without the "WWW".

Everyone who has been having this problem please try it without the WWW, and see if that works. If you have not had problems with being logged out, please tell me whether you use the WWW or not.

I don't use the bookmark, I come here from my ezboard control panel to the old board and click that link to come here. I have Seth's problem: log in at the Portal, get to the forums, have to log in again.

I type www.therebelfaction.com into my browser and I am having no problems.

I always bypass the portal myself. I rarely view since I link www.therebelfaction.com/forums.
