I resent the obsenities you bestow on student athletes. Not only are most of us not stupid, but most of us are the smartest people our age. Speaking for myself I'm a tennis player, a good one too, and I take honors classes in school. And I still manage to be in the top 10% of my class.

Come on, we all know that Tennis isn't a real sport. The "jocks" are the Football, Rugy, and Basketball players. Not the tennis players.

And I still manage to be in the top 10% of my class.

They say tennis is a cultured sport... though I don't imagine it would be tought to be smarter than the real jocks, either.

Oh, wow! Honors classes in a public high school in the United States of a America I take back everything bad I've said about jocks -- clearly, you are in a league of your own, as a member of the elite sect permitted the prestigious honor of taking high school honors courses.
Look, kids, high school sports serve no purpose other than to let morons who would otherwise be in a trailer somewhere with something up their nose or in their arm roar and flex their muscles. It's a distraction from the @#%$ that matters. That universities favor athletically gifted students (when, really, that athletic ability will do 90% of them absolutely no good in real life) is a shameful thing that excludes students who can't kick a football but do have more than four functional brain cells.

If your life revolves around high school sports, it's probably pretty meaningless anyway.
