This is the relevant section I believe:
FORCE-USER RULES
These rules are pertinent to all who wish to play a character who is Force-sensitive in any way. Every Force user should review these rules to understand both their limits and their rights and privileges. The second section should be read by both Force users and fleet roleplayers.
JEDI, ROGUE JEDI, SHADOW JEDI, SITH, AND DARK JEDI KNIGHT REQUIREMENTS:
May be defined by the groups. However, it should be noted that the requirements for Knight in the group should resemble the following:
One month (minimum) in the galaxy.
A completed training thread, consisting of 60 or more posts.
One duel.
One or two roleplays.
RPing ability on the level of the other Knights in the galaxy.
These may be and should be adjusted based on your own disgression and the ethos of your group.
If it is found that your group has promoted multiple users to Knight (or equivalent rank) before they are up to Knight standard (both in RPing ability and experience), the staff may step in to serve as judges of a user's readiness or, in severe cases, revoke your ability to promote users.
Ranking Systems:
TRF uses a three-tier Force system. All of TRF uses a three-tier Force system.
Padawan Learner
Jedi Knight
Jedi Master
Making up special irrelevant ranks for yourself is fine, and making up your own ranking system to fill those three tiers, is fine. However, there is not going to be a ranking system that goes:
Sith Apprentice
Sith Knight
Sith Master
Sith Lord
If you want to say that Master is just a variation on Lord, that's okay. But we don't want people inventing these extra ranks to place themselves above those working on the standard three-tier system. If you wish, you can re-name the standard three ranks, like so...
Sith Cow,
Sith Monkey,
Sith Weiner Dog
You can even add ranks between the standard three-tier system to flesh it out.
Learner
Apprentice
Innate
Knight
Warrior
Lord
Master
However, the extra ranks are for show only. A Sith Lord using the scale above is not more powerful than a Jedi Knight if both characters have existed for the same amount of time. There is no rank above that of Master (though you can rename your Master rank). Once you have reached Master, there is no where to go. After that, the power of your character is judged by your role-play ability, the length of time your character has been in the TRF galaxy, and the strength of your character.
