<font size=4>Communications failure strikes GC worlds
Coalition, Sovereignty, Tholatin worlds left in dark as holonet suffers 'catostrophic failure'</font>

In a stunning and potentially devestating turn of events, INS has recieved a report from credible sources that holonet communications with worlds in Coalition, Sovereignty, and Tholatin space have failed completely. INS headquarters recieved a communications from an unidentified person earlier today stating that 'catostophic failure' had afflicted the holonet in those regions, shutting down interplanetary communications and interupting the flow of data between many worlds.

"With the current state of war between the Coalition and the New Order," one expert on communication devices said, "this could prove to be a disaster."

The loss of instantanious communications, of course, makes cooridination of fleets next to the impossible and, should more worlds fall under attack, getting word out would not be possible except by means of couriers or droids. And these methods are simply 'to slow' to be of any assistance.

"By the time a droid courier was recieved, and a force assembled, odds are the battle would have been over for some days." Said an unidentified official of the Imperial Command.

The IHC refused to comment on what this turn of events means for Imperial counterstrikes against Galactic Coalition and Outer-Rim Sovereignty targets, but it is expected that they will use the blackout to their full advantadge.

"This can only help the Empire." Said on man. "Even if only to confuse Coalition forces and throw them into a state of disarray."

Asked why the blackout effected only the communications of the Empire's opponents, one officer said it might have been "divine intervention". There is a spreading belief in the Empire that whatever Gods the forces of the Coalition hail to are displeased with them, and have been taking their wrath out on the GC since the war's beginning.

Whatever the outcome, the loss of interplanetary communications is not of benefit to the forces of the Coalition. Without the ability to send or recieve orders, reports, or information, they are literally 'in the dark' as to what is going on around them.

The Galactic Coalition is infinitely curious as to what source exactly the Empire has derived this faulty information from. For something this serious certainly cannot be disregarded.

However the validity of these claims certainly comes in question since I just got off of the HoloReceiver with one of my loved ones stationed on one of our many warships - not to mention I received the very message that he is claiming to be so faulty. If he is referring to our "delayed HoloDrama stations", then perhaps he should be pondering why pirates are attacking HoloDrama stations lately, perhaps because Galactic Coalition forces have clamped down on such illegal activities of late?

Either way we thank the Empire for their concern but assure them it is completely unfounded.

<span style="font-family:helvetica; color:white;font-size:large;">Talking into a Holonet transciever can make you more fit</span>

Scientists on Coruscant today have discovered an amazing medical trend. Such as humor can help you heal faster, listening to yourself talk can increase your overall fitness. According to sources, talking into a holonet transmitter when the holonet is down in your area of space can improve your health.

Then again these are the same people that claimed eggs were good for you then bad again, so who ya gonna trust?

OOC:If that was meant to make GC look bad and is meant to imply that my message didn't get through, well, maybe you should check the OOC thread concerning this, especially Anhk's ruling saying for us to ignore the thread due to the fact that it was illegal.

OOC: yeah, I saw it after the fact, but if no one heard your message and only mine, that would be just silly, now wouldnt it. Admit it, the idea is funny...
