Hello Ted, things are looking pretty bad for the Coalition from where I'm standing. Their negotiator was possibly blind, insane, or was told the objective of the game was to give away as much as possible. Reports indicate he was shoved into a vat of kool-aid and beaten with shrimping nets before being released on idiocy charges.
Wow Jimmy, that sure sounds important. Now back to me. The peace signing was agreed upon, AND the embarrasing information released that the whole war was due to really bad camera-ship.
Don't believe me? Look closely.
The reason the Coalition got angry and got all its' allies to attack TNO was because rather recently TNO had raided the Coalition, destroying multiple shipyards and capturing Kamino. The reason Kamino was taken was because the Empire only had incomplete reports about what happened at Kamino, and radicalist, murderous minorities who wanted power for themselves fooled the Empire into believing them.
Thus, if TNO's Cameramen were better trained, they would have gotten clearer pictures. With clearer pictures they would have seen what really happened at Kamino. If they had seen that then they would have not attacked the Coalition, and finally the Coalition would have not attacked back.
The reports are scant, but apparently the Coalition has signed over control of three planets, a quarter of the fleet, and half their ship-building facilities to the Empire, to aquire:
A lasting, understanding, and maybe even one day friendly peace with the Empire. Besides, we can hardly blame them for getting the wrong impression. They @#$! up in camera-work, we @#$! up in investigative media, we all make mistakes, and these were two big ones that we all hope will never be repeated.
Once again, this is Ted, GNN studios, over here.
