This date in history, a horrific atrocity of war has been committed. Five missiles launched by a fleet of hostile people from the government known as Farfalen, loaded with what is believed to be radioactive materials, have decimated twent vessels of war. Thousands of lives have been lost in a pre-meditated, unprovoked assault on at Tholatin Republic homeworld. It is an unbearable tragedy which has befallen our protectors. These people who, in the last few weeks, have sought peace from all sides but the one the one they weren't fighting. And what comes from it? A horrible, heinous act of war gleening from the galaxy thousands of lives who have done nothing to this enemy.
Word has reached me from the Republics capital that a state of war has been issued against this Farfalen regime. Adumars protectors have been forced to flee while the planet holds out on shields and ground weapons. Her loyal soldiers prepare to do war with the enemy. Even the populace is armed and waiting for the arrival of enemy drop ships. Know this, Farfalen, if you land, every last soldier of yours will be decimated. The people of Adumar will brutally destroy every last person you land on the planet. And the Republic will not lie still while you continue bombardment of a world that has done nothing to you.
Your government will be wiped from the face of the galaxy. If the Republic dies in the process of doing so then so be it. No one who calls themselves a sentient being can condone such an act of hatred, of murder, of such magnitude. I ask you, citizens of this galaxy, can you do so? Will you stand to let a government come to anothers world and in one single, swift strike consisting of six missiles, destroy thousands of lives that have never layed a finger on them? The intentions of one group against another have been played out by every galactic government that has emerged in recent years. Each does its best to convince the rest of the galaxy that they are good, and that whoever they oppose are bad.
Obviously, the Tholatin Republic is no different.
This... Farfalen, on the other hand. I have to admit that their refusal to enter the stage and bash, at their taxpayers expense (assuming they have taxpayers) their enemies, is refreshing.
And I imagine that the Farfalen comment was merely to raise this very issue. No care for polits, no need to waste time and money on verbal wars...
It is a cold-blooded ruthless approach that I find fascinating to study.
