But as long as we're ignoring history... I'll go dig up TNO pre-restart fleet list and use some of those ships.

Joren was on the planet when it was taken, and as I recall, there was nothing said about the character leaving.

Since it's under Imperial control now ...

And we complained bitterly at the time, since that was the first time you mentioned anything about Joren Arden at all. Now if you had actually done more then one post about it, and even then it was like two sentencces, saying that you captured him, I don't even think you really roleplayed it out, we might have actually had a chance to respond. So, yeah, since you didn't give us time to respond, he is obviously free.

You didn't "complain bitterly". You made one post which only said "You never captured him!!!", and then shut up. And that was you, not Joren.

Joren could easily have avoided being captured, but he choose to avoid the roleplay. And he choose not to RP anything following the end of the roleplay, either.

The last post in the RP lists him as captured, and is thusly what happened. He never escaped, he is not free.
