Return of the King of the Cafe!
Listen some days I just burst at the seems with good R&D ideas, but there just arn't enough slots. Shouldn't there be some way to boost a factions' slot total?

Write five-thousand words for a planet. Wait two-and-a-half days for a Nebulan-B2 frigate, there are even ways to get a death star, but why limit technology?

Couldn't there be a way to increase slots, like after you use up the nine (I think its' nine) slots you have to write a five-thousand word role-play to get another one? Or something like that?

Dude. Look at the list of R&D's. A lot of factions have more than nine. Just write well written ones.

theres a soft cap, as long as your R&Ds are good you can submit after that, but they better be Good. Its a case by case descion, and yes, it depends on what the mods think. No 'Whos to say whats a good R&D submission and whats not" The mods are who decide that.

There is a limit past the soft cap though, so dont gfo freaking out till you hit the roof.
