Marth Meer

I now that TNO attempted to have a shroud go under the shields of a ship at Corellia. Was it ruled that shields were inches from a ships hull or what?

It would seem they are as seen in the movies...

I don't know what was said about Corellia, but I've always assumed shields acted as seen in EPI, inches away from the hull.

Minister of Defence
Corellia it was allowed, but that was because we had both moved ships beneath the shields. However, I'm pretty sure that was an exception.

In the X-Wing series, it's established that an X-Wing's shields project roughly 20 meters off the fighter's bow.
This is a good time because Kas is so up-tight you could stick a coal up his ass and in two weeks you would have a diamond.

Well, hold on there.
I can see where a Capital ship would have the shields close to it and yet a fighter "projects" them.
If a fighter's shield limit was an inch off it's hull as an ISD, I think the blast would still injure the fighter seeing as it's a very small craft moving at a great rate of speed.

I think an inch is clearly too close.
Besides, taking into account the two sheid things... I give up, but no way is it 20 meters. At most, 2.
