I just installed this really cool plugin for Mozilla / Firefox. It's a website mirror program.

What's the first thing I do with it? Start downloading the Hangarbay, of course. :)

I've been worrying that the Hangarbay would one day be taken down, and then a key resource for us would be lost. Lost no more! I'll mirror it on my server.

So what does it do download not only the code but also the images to your server?

It downloaded the entire site, images, scripts and all. I suppose you could set it up to download only the HTML files, I didn't do that.

Wasn't that just intended initially for offline browsing,

Download say . . .TRF in it's entirety and surf it offline?

You certainly could. I would, but my connection might not be able to handle it. Would be a handy way to archive it, though.

I downloaded the one for mac that mozdev linked to a few weeks back, but gave up due to confusion over how to use it.

I know the plugin I downloaded came in two flavors. One for Windows and one for Linux. The one for Linux required that a program be installed on Linux, while the one for Windows had that program embedded. You would probably require a mac version, and I didn't see one of those.
