As the streaking star lines dropped back to dots on the black curtain of space, duro became visible in the scopes of the advancing alien attack force under the command of K'taruuk. Getting here was no easy feat in itself. A short journey had neccessarily been made twice as long by taking a series of rerouted hyperspace jumps to avoid the busy commercial traffic lanes.

Duro, being very close to the galactic core was not a quiet world by any means, however the entire point of this mission was to be noticed.


As the thirteen gunships and sqaudrons of fighters slowed out of hyperspace, their Ion drives cut into play, bringing them on course towards the planet at full speed.

"Bring the fighters into formation. Order them to attack.

Have gunships one through seven concentrate thier proton torpedo fire on the northern cities, ships eight to thirteen will creat a barrage of turbolaser fire over all parts of the planet, cause as much devastation as possible.
