I recognize I and the Union have been inactive for some time. I also have fully embraced its dismemberment due to inactivity as a part of the Cataclysm plot. However, I would like to salvage some of the Union worlds under a new sub-faction for the Alliance. I figure I would be able to do that much since I am already in the process of dismantling the Union's actual secret infrastructure so that the League that was established would still be there minus a few worlds.
Would this be possible? I am already working on a post aiding to explain the Union's actual collapse due to infighting. If not I suppose I'll do things the hard way, but first seeing if I might be able to hold onto some of what I'd worked on.

If you want to retake them, I don't see an issue with that.
If you want that put into your faction without doing 5000 word takeovers, that might be an issue.
Redistributing the planets between the various factions as a result of the events of Cataclysm was Omnae's thing. I think rather than say "no", I'll suggest that you talk to Omnae, but expect that he'll probably say "no".

I guess it depends on which worlds you were talking about. Since the Union was inactive, I did dissolve it in the sense that it's various parts started working for their own interests rather than the Union's.
Hence, the League of Companies. Other than those directly talked about (like your Sons of Corellia), the Union simply became an NPC in much the same manner as the League of Nations.

In thinking about this, though, I pretty much dissolved Stellar Enterprises (not in rp) but in the fact that the post-Cataclysm planet list would have them gone by the wayside as a failed company.
Now, he's back rp'ing and probably expects all his planets back. Of course, he's not getting everything back but the point is, if he gets something back, shouldn't you in all fairness.

I'm looking to build a political/business sub-faction out of what bits and pieces of the Union I'd be allowed to scrap together.
The main world I'm after is Taris along with perhaps the Outworld Confederacy sub-faction worlds of Phindar and Serenno.
Basically all more political and economic worlds that have some proximity to one another within the Outer Rim Territories along the Hydian Way. I'm considering calling it the Hydian Republic.

No...Robinella was not informed and does not really understand how such a decision came about since SE had no interests inside Reaver space.

Cataclysm was also the OOC house cleaning of dead groups and as such, I was not going to write about how each planet/holding was going to disappear from the planet list but just chalk it up to consequences related or not to events in the thread.
