<font color="red">"Yes, I certainly do, Mr. Rushnik."</font>
A thin drawn out smile played onto Maria's lips as one of her delicate fingers lightly traced the communications button.
<font color="red">"I certainly do."</font>
Her words were but a small whisper as she rose from her rolling chair, her black high heels making a click clack pattern as she exited her office, entering the waiting room.
<font color="red">"Mr Anderson?"</font>
The man known as Mr. Anderson arose from his seat, dropping the reading material that he had been reading onto the round table beside him.
Maria smiled thinly at the man, her light blue eyes showing warmth.
<font color="red">"Mr. Rushnik will be with you shortly. I was told to keep you company while you wait. I'm sorry, it should not be too much long, he's in a meeting, which is expected to end fairly soon. Can I get you anything while you wait? A drink, something to snack on, if you would like?"</font>
Mr. Anderson gave her what appeared to be a charming smile, but from what Maria could tell, there was more behind that smile than what could be seen by the naked eye.
He laughed softly, giving her a polite no Thank You.
A set of silence seemed to fall between the two, a silence that Maria would not let fill the room for long.
<font color="red">"If you don't mind Mr. Anderson, would you care to tell me about yourself? We here at The Corporation love to hear all about out business hopefulls."</font>
"I don't really know you see. I just got this strange card on the Holonet one day, saying if I had a problemt the Corporation could solve it..."
The small man sqiurmed in his seat, like a child who didn't know an answer to the teachers question.
"Maybe you can help by telling me just what it is you people do?"
Maria remembered The Corporations motto, "Don't ask, don't tell."
The Corporation did not believe in asking the questions, just the required ones. The corporation's clients did most of the asking, while the corporation itself made all the preperations. The corporation had a business to run, and they had to run the business smoothly, yet carefully.
Maria smiled coolly, her light blue eyes focusing on the small man's own eyes.
<font color="red">"We do whatever you need us to do, Mr. Anderson. We have a don't ask, don't tell kind of policy. You tell us what you want, we making the preperations. We get the job done, the first time through."</font>
<font color="red">"...So Mr. Anderson, you just tell me what it it is you want, and I can assure you, that it all will be well taken care of."</font>
"Well there's this guy at work, he's kinda been rising in the companies eye cause they say he might be you know "Force Sensative". They been thinking about giving him full payed leave to go become a Jedi, and he wants it too you know.... even got himself a lightsaber...."
Mr. Anderson had begun to rattle on like a babbling idiot.
"He is taking all the praise left and right, everyone is so intrested in him, well who cares, who cares weither he is "Force Sensative" or not? Why do they all act afraid of him? Are they afraid he might get mad at them and become a Sith? I think they are all just acting scared, but I'm not. I hate this guy, I hate him with a passion. I want to see him fail, I live to see him fail. The letter said you guys could solve my problem right? You think you could take care of someone like him?"
Maria rested the knuckles of her left hand underneath her chin, her right arm lay horizontally under her left arm. Her right hand delicately holding up her left elbow.
<font color="red">""Mr. Anderson, you've come to the right place. We here at the Corporation would be happy to do business with you. However, as you know, business does not come without a price..."</font>
She pursed her lips, looking at him questionably as silence filled the waiting hall again.
"Maria? Are you finished?"
The communicator beeped on again this time Mr. Rushnik's voice on the other end.
<font color="red">"We are sir."</font>
"Well Send Him in."
<font color="red">"Will do sir."</font>
Maria turned to Mr. Anderson and flashed him a fake smile.
<font color="red">"Mr. Rushnik will see you now."</font>
