Hey I am new here, just wanted to say hi. And also say that there is a problem with the user cp. I am not able to access the control panel because it states that there is a slight problem with it. Also I was wondering if this was actually serious storylines. Bunny Hunters? Nobody except for the i wanna make a funny storyline people are gonna go with that. And Palestar Crusades? A bunch of baby killers? Please people. Oh and does this site have a chat site?

That problem is being addressed at the current time.
Yes, very much so in the serious department. Sometimes it even gets a little out of hand with the seriousness, as OOC debates over IC threads have dragged on for pages in the past. But we do like to have a sense of humor to go along with our seriousness.

Have a look around. Read the rules and FAQ. Look over some RPs. And with the exception of the preceding post, ignore Kraker.
Do those things and you should have no questions as to whether or not TRF is a serious roleplaying board.
Someone else will undoubtedly be by shortly to to give you a more comprehensive welcome.

In terms of ignoring what has happened in the past and what is occuring in the present, I find that statement highly contradictory.
That being said, the Confederation and Commonwealth are both looking for new members.

Ah yes, regretfully there is a problem with exactly this issue at the moment, we are working to rectify it, bear with us...

*grins* We are an irreverent bunch here at TRF, we feel there is room for both, but if you take the time to look through our battlegrounds, you'll find the vast majority of our roleplays are very serious...

The Bunny Hunters Guild was merely an out of character prank on those uppity Bounty Hunters, it was of course not meant in a serious way, and does not reflect in character, of course

Any comments of the Palestar crusades, please direct to Dacian Palestar, who I am sure will be thrilled to take onboard any constructive criticism you may care to offer.

We have in the past, but it rarely got used, pretty sure we did at least, but its mostly redundant anyway, most RP'ers here just use either AIM or MSN, AIM seems to be the more used. Most have their contact names listed in their profiles.

Tycho, take the time to look around read a few RP's to get a feel of the place, and feel free to ask any questions you may have, the battlegrounds is a good place to begin.

The question is not really if TRF has serious roleplays but if you are a serious roleplayer.
You see, what you listed (Bunny Hunter's Guild and Palestar Crusade being baby killers) are not really roleplay threads but the simple (and evidently deceiving) edifice masking very capable talent.
A serious roleplayer would have seen beyond the superficial (though killing babies is no laughing matter...[no, seriously!]), read a roleplay or two and then kicked him/herself for even thinking what he/she thought.
So, you feeling lucky, punk?
