Considering the way Washington has been acting, I'm not surprised people are talking about it.
Not that I want to secede, you understand, but I can understand the sentiment coming from some hotheads whose minds are in overdrive. The massive tax increase stinks of the 1770's. As one who attended a tea party, I can certainly understand why people are fed up with Obama and the Democrats in Congress.

Except, you DO have representation so the whole shouting "taxation without representation" thing was bullshit. The excuse "well its not my own personal views being represented" doesn't matter. You live in a democracy where whoever the majority of the votes goes to rules. You just have to suck up for the next X number of years while you're in the minority, like the left-wing side of america had to do for the X number of years that Bush was in power. Its a cycle, the right wing will get their chance to be in power again sooner or later.
