<font color=006600>Captain Tulok of the Allegiance-class Super Star Destroyer Pandemonium sat erect at his desk, a broad spread of datacards filling his vision as he casually scanned through the pile in front of him. There were several there that held interest for him, but at the moment all he was doing was browsing the collection Lithium had gathered for him. There was no chance for him to read the cards in full now, but selecting them for later use was a good start.

As Tulok was nearing the end of his selection process, his comlink started beeping in his pocket. Distracted from his task, the captain reached into his pocket and drew out the comlink. He thumbed it on quickly, and spoke into it.

<font color=808080>“Tulok,”<font color=006600> he snapped into the device, head jolting up when he heard the response.

<font color=808080>“Ahh, Captain, so good of you to answer,”<font color=006600> Admiral Osiaric’s voice came clear through the comlink, both startling Tulok and sending a pang through his body. This was sure to be used against him later by the admiral, but at the moment the older man seemed deathly calm and in control, and somehow Tulok didn’t think that he’d try and put one over on the captain just at the moment.

<font color=808080>“My apologies, Admiral,” <font color=006600> Tulok conveyed after a short pause. <font color=006600>“Do you need me on the bridge?”

“As a matter of fact, Captain, that is the reason for me contacting you,”<font color=006600> A sneer sneaked it’s way through Tulok’s comlink from Osiaric’s voice. <font color=808080>“We will be reverting from hyperspace at Ralltiir in five minutes, and I would hope that you’d be here to... help the rest of us crush these imperial pretenders.”

Sithspawn, I didn’t realise it was so late!

“Uhh, yes sir,” <font color=006600> Tulok quickly checked his chrono to be sure that the admiral wasn’t playing some nasty trick on him, but the facts that stared him in the face only proved to confirm what he dreaded. <font color=808080>“I’ll be right there, admiral.” <font color=006600>

Caught off-guard, Tulok quickly dashed from his quarters and raced through the massive ship to it’s bridge, where he should have already been, arranging details of the upcoming battle. As he reached the bridge, he could hear Osiaric beginning to give orders to Lithium, who was already there.

<font color=808080>“Jam all communications as soon as we revert from hyperspace,” <font color=006600>the admiral was telling Lithium.

<font color=808080>“Yes, sir,” <font color=006600> the Lieutenant answered, relaying the order to the appropriate station.

Tulok entered the bridge, his bridge, just in time to feel the whole ship jolt slightly under him.

They had arrived.<font color=ffffff>

With a flicker of pseudomotion, Vice Admiral Aevan Drakiss' command reverted to realspace. From the main viewport of the Allegiance-class star destroyer <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Achilles<!--EZCODE ITALIC END-->, the Admiral looked out upon the planet, as if hoping to visually identify the targets which would soon be reduced to little more than mounds of durasteel.

It was a new warship, of course. The <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Oni Neko<!--EZCODE ITALIC END--> was out in space, perhaps one hundred kilometers from here. While he had been transferred to a command twice as large, he wished them well. Meanwhile, he had a new bridge to become accustomed to.

"Lieutenant, have you detected any defensive formations?" he asked his main commscan officer, still staring out the viewport.

"Not as of yet, Admiral. Freighters and transports, but little else is registering on my scopes. We must have caught them at an awkward time," the young man replied.

"And the planet's defensive shield?"

"My readings indicate negative. The shield is not raised, Admiral."

"Very well," he replied, turning from the viewport to look out at the faces of the still-unfamiliar bridge crew. "Alert all commands-prepare to target the main generator."

"THREE MINUTES TO REVERSION!" Shouted out the Hyperspace officer.

"All crew battle stations. Reversion to realspace in 140 seconds. All crew battle stations." The orders rang out again, the time to realspace diminishing.

"Captain Bralta." Rear Admiral Lei Lebron said, in his usual calm voice, before a battle.

"Yes Admiral?" Captain Elex Bralta responded.

"When we exit hyperspace, have our shields brought up and weapons charged. Do not fire immeadiatly at anything that moves. Also, have a wing of fighters ready for launch.Also, have Abolishers set up along the major space lanes and activate their pulse mass mines as soon as all are ships have entered the system."

"Aye Admiral." The Captain spun on his heel and he promptly began to shout orders to the crew.

Across the forward viewscreen, and through the transparasteel the strange hyperspace lane disappeared and more familiar view of realspace came into sight. Admiral Drakiss's fleet had already fell out of hyperspace and so had another division.

"Communications. Hail Drakiss. I need a word with him."

"Admiral, we are receiving a transmission from Admiral Lebron," came the call from the CommScan lieutenant.

"Put it on viewer."

A holoimage of Rear Admiral Lei Lebron blinked into existance on the bridge of the <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Achilles<!--EZCODE ITALIC END-->. Aevan straightened, wondering what was up.

"My compliments, Admiral Lebron. What can I do for you?"

The Admiral smiled back at his friend aboard the <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Achilles<!--EZCODE ITALIC END-->. "Well Admiral Drakiss, I was wondering, are you going to be sweeping the left side of the planet for ships or the right side for ships? I wouldn't want us to leave one side open for escape." The Admiral said in a mannerly fashion.

Grand Admiral Snowkan watched as his fleet reverted from hyperspace. He commanded a large force, as the Kessel Attack Fleet, the second fleet of the mon Calamari Republic, had joined to help hjim in this battler. The other fleet should be arriving soon, thought Grand Admiral Snowkan. He had reverted out of hyperspace far enough out of system to not be harmed by any Abolisher field.
"Tell Lord Snowkan to power up the Superlaser. All ships, form up in a line. Full speed ahead."
The ships formed up in a line, with the Eclipse Star Destroyer in the center, flanked by the two Mon Calamari Supercruisers, then the corellian battle cruisers. The rest of the ships weren't arrayed in any sort of order. The superlaser commenced the power up stage.
"Launch all ground based fighters, but keep them on the other side of the planet, untill the enemy gets here. Prepare all weapons. Shields up, with full cover to everywhere. All Blessing Cruisers, MC-300s and the ESD, devert power from the gravity generators and hyperspace bubbles to shields, if they start to lose power. Launch all fighters."
"Sir the enemy ships seem to be expecting us to be attacking from the front. They are arrayed in a line, with the marjority off their shield power forward."
"Fire once we are within range. Target the engines. Tell the planetary advanced turbolaser to power up. I want this battle over with as soon as possible."
"We are outnumbered sir."
"That is why we have reinforcements coming in."
"We are within range of their ships."
"All guns, fire."
Turbolaser bolts, heavy turbolaser bolts, ion cannon bolts, concussion missiles and proton torpedoes all flew towards the enemy ships. Iron Fist Had concentrated a it's volley on an Alligiance star destroyer, the Pandemonuim and an Reign star destroyer, Shaft. The 200 proton torpedoes flew at the Pandemonium's engines. The 750 ion cannons all fired at the ewngines on Shaft. Pride of the Mon Calamri fired on another Alligiance star destroyer, Achilles, along with the third Alligiance star destroyer, Belial. 200 proton torpedoes and 150 ion cannoon fired on the Achilles, while 600 ion cannon fired on Belial. Liberation of the Mon Calamari fired on three of the Reign Star Destroyers, Pending, BLack Diamond and Xerxes. The 550 turblasers were split into two groups of 275, and the heavy laser cannons were split into three. The first group had 300 heavy laser cannons, the other two had 100 heavy laser cannons each. The group of 300 heavy laser cannons went to work on Xerxes. The other groups went to work on Pending and Black Diamond. The corellian battlecruisers split up their work load. They worked together and went after the three remaining Reign star destroyers. The corruption star destroyer, and the two MC-300s worked together on three other the imperial star destroyers, Logan, Blind Inovation and Hectic. The MC-300s launched twenty concussion missiles at Hectic and Blind Inovation. The Corruption star destroyer launched 120 concussion missiles at Logan, and opened up fire on it with it's 70 heavy double turbolasers. The MC-300s fired on both of the enemy ships. All the fire the Iron Fist Empire and mon calamari ships shot were aimed at the engines. Grand Admiral Snowkan hoped to blow them up, and their for making a huge explosion, maybe with a little more fire take out the command tower, with the shield generators on top. The 620 TIE M1 flew at one of the imperial star destroyers, Arbitrator, and open up fire with their turbolasers. The ground based fighters had managed to sneak around to this side of the planet, and were firing a slavo of proton torpedoes at the victory star destroyer, Artanis. They followed up that salvo with a slavo of concussion missiles, just after it at another star destroyer, Enmity. 667 Proton torpedoes flew at Artanis's engines. 667 concussion missiles flew at Enmity's engines. The rest of the fighters and ships picked targets to fire on. The ground troops were sent to the ground, with the Tank Droids. The Hover Tanks and All Terrain Heavy Artillery flew up to the planetary advacned turbolaser and defended it.

The ships came out of hyperpsace and then continued to the planet. Suddenly Grand Admiral Snowkan realized somethign wasn't right. Most of his allies hadn't jumped into the system.
"Lord Snowkan, this is Grand Admiral Snowkan. I can't find the rest of our allies on sensors. Take your fleet back to Mon Calamari Space, with some donations from my fleet. I will fight to the end, but the Iron Fist Empire is no more. We don't have the firepower to continue this battle, even with your help. Retreat to Kessel."
"Grand Admiral Snowkan, I read you."
The Eclipse Star Destroyer, two Mon Calamari Supercruisers, one which was a present to the Mon Calamari Republic from IFE, 2 MC-300s, 1 MC-90, three Aegis Star Cruisers MK.II, all of the fighters, except for 198 TIE M1s, 5 MC-40s, 3 Lancer Frigates and 1 corellian gunship stopped and turned around. They were still out of range of the Abolisher field. They went intoo hyperspace, on their way to Kessel. Anoth lancer frigate and the remaining 198 TIE M1s retreated as well, this time heading for Esseles. The 198 TIE M1s was what the Iron Fist Empire had rented from Damorian Manufacturing Corporation. The lancer frigate was just payment. The rest of the ships kept on coming. Then the three Blessign Cruiser turned away and went left the Abolisher field, headed for Khomm. The small fleet kept on coming. As soon as the Blessing Cruisers had left the range of the jamming, they sent a message to Falleen.

The message was received. The 10 MC-40s, 2 Dreadnaughts and 2 lancer frigates stationed at Falleen moced away from the shipyards. The shipyards were abandounded. The ships all targeted the shipyards and blew the Iron Fist Empire yards out of the sky. Then they all left. The 10 MC-40s headed to Kessel, while the other ships headed out on a specific course, to target Alpha, for Alpha-D Mission.

A squad of cloaked w-wing fighters watched as The IFE blew their own SY to pieces. This would require further investigation at a later date. But that was not their mission. The AMC-40 came into the system under a conventional cloak. THe ship headed on a trajectory that took advantage of the debress that fell. THey did not make any interference in the atmosphere that was out of the ordinary. The ship had a preprogramed flight path that they were following. The TNA had mapped the planet thoroughly over the last few years. And the Alderaanian guard knew the area well. The ship head for a remote area of seas. The waters of Falleen were deep. And that is exactly what they intend to see to. The ship shudders as it hits water just as it was programed to. THe ship sinks beneath the waves. Several hundered meters later they were able to drop the cloak. No one would be searching the waters. Activating repulsors the ship transformed from a space vessel to a submersable ship.

Ballasts were filled with emergency air incase the power ever failed. The Ship headed deep under water. Taking refuge in a deep sea trench as far down into the heart of a planet as one may venture with out meeting molten rock. The ship was able to counter the strains on the ship with a modified shield. But at this depth any lessor ship would be crushed. Now they sit and wait for their next move.

<font color=808080>“Incoming fire from the planet!” <font color=006600>A yell came up from the crewpit, momentarily surprising some of the enlisted on board.

<font color=808080>“All hands, brace!” <font color=006600>Another voice both confirmed the first and warned the Pandemonium’s bridge crew that the primary turbolaser fire was headed for their ship. Tulok reached out a hand and steadied himself just before the blast hit, but the Allegiance’s shields managed to prevent any structural or hull damage, to the man’s relief.

Tulok bore down on the tactical officer below him, whose station he had just reached. <font color=808080>“What are the chances of them doing that again in the next hour?”

“Practically none, sir,” <font color=006600>the man said with an air of confidence, hands dancing over the controls as he relayed what he was doing on initiative to his captain.

<font color=808080>“I assure you sir, it was just a lucky shot. It’ll take a while to recharge, also. These planetary turbolasers were always just a waste of time in my opinion, anyway. We’ll have the planet half-won by the time it’ll take for that hunk of metal to fire again.” <font color=006600>The man looked up happily, but then quickly turned his attention back to the board at his fingers when it started making a noise it hadn’t been a few seconds earlier.

<font color=808080>“What is it?” <font color=006600>Tulok asked, an unwarranted look of concern creasing his face.

<font color=808080>“The remaining Iron Fist forces are headed this way, sir...” <font color=006600>He looked up, trying for a brief second to catch a glimpse of the battle outside the main viewport.

<font color=808080>“...right at the Pandemonium.”

“What? Are they insane..?” <font color=006600>Tulok’s look of concern turned to that of curiosity, as he contemplated the possible end that these ships were seeking to achieve. The forward flank that they were preparing to engage was obviously the most fortified of all of the outlying portions of the division, and even before they could reach the command division, the Iron Fist forces would have to pass Sentinel 1:3’s second battlegroup, which was off just to the side of their current course, but could easily be diverted to intercept and protect their command division.

It just didn’t make sense.

<font color=808080>What could they be up to? <font color=006600>Tulok wondered, as he stood slowly to look out the viewport that the tactical officer had had no chance of seeing. As his gaze expanded out, over the bridge and into space, he caught sight of Osiaric conversing with Lithium.

And in that second, it clicked.

<font color=808080>Sithspawn! Osiaric! They know that he’s here... most of their fleet has fled, leaving these few, weak ships behind. They haven’t got a chance of surviving against us now, no more than they did when their entire force was here. <font color=006600>Tulok’s mind raced as the connections were made, rapidly mixing already known fact with well-based speculation. As he thought, Tulok began to act. He started moving forward, dishing out orders left and right as he approached Osiaric.

<font color=808080>They targeted us, not one of the weaker ships. Their turbolaser has already dealt us a blow, and it doesn’t really matter if we protect ourselves from it now - it’s done all the damage that it needed to... <font color=006600>He looked out again at the diminishing force careening toward them.

<font color=808080>Those are kamikaze ships... <font color=006600>

As Tulok reached Osiaric, the Pandemonium began to slow down and drop back to the aft of the command group, whilst it was reinforced on all sides by other ships coming in from the group. The formation tightened up on all sides, as Tulok was all too aware that this could simply be a ploy to lure the Pandemonium to the rear of the division for an ambush, although the means for making an attack like that possible escaped Tulok.

Osiaric seemed to give to the Captain’s judgement without argument, as he had obviously noticed the same or a similar thing. Lithium however looked like he didn’t have a clue as to what was going on, although he was smart enough to not question something that the Admiral wasn’t going to.

<font color=808080>“Bring the second battle group around to engage the remaining Iron Fist forces,” <font color=006600>Osiaric ordered dryly to Lithium, almost dismissing the man as Tulok came up to stand beside them.

The forces drew closer, and in the last instant, began firing. <font color=ffffff>


OOC: Snowkan, may I remind you that not all of your ships’ guns can fire at the same time - going back to what Hyfe brought up a while ago. I’m not sure of the exact specification of your ships, so don’t know if you are heading this rule already, but I just thought I’d mention it.

And I’m assuming from what you’ve said that this is what is left of your force?
