Within the Kathol rift there are beings that use the force in a mysterious manner. The Aing-Ti monks reside there. Once long ago a member of the Teras Kasi helped to save one of their ships from a pirate attack force that was seeking retribution for taking their slaves from them.

Since then the Aing-ti graced the Teras Kasi with help when it is required.
