Also, before people go around and tell RL friends about this who won't actually read the article and will instead ask for a summary, make sure you mention its a break-off/splinter group from the second largest party in the parliament. AKA not the real Russian Communist party (i think they still have a real one) and certainly not anywhere close to a majority of the Russian parliament.

I've heard people refer to him as a communist multiple times (perhaps even here on TRF, but definately other places), hence my expectations. Also I find many people who feel someone is a socialist express that feeling by calling the person a communist.

There is nothing wrong with limited socialism

Hardly - that's not socialism, that's idiocy. You do not throw good money after bad. Good socialism is government controlled and owned business - several, not all - where it holds a monopoly, such as petrol or natrual gas, or some such thing, thus utilizing the profits therefrom to place into institutions like mass transit, defense, free or extremely low cost college, lower cost health care, etc. And of course, to ease the tax burden on society.

No - bailouts and such is a ridiculous idea tha destroys the vert nature of business - if you fail, you fail. If you've run your business poorly, you suffer the consequences. One does not put a bandaide on a bullet wound.
