Naw. Jedi Master Sifo Diyas (sp?) was previously mentioned as being on the Jedi Council... just can't recall in what capacity or where it was referenced.

sifo-dyas was dooku's friend/patsy. dooku was said as being a master never a member of the council before as far as i can recall.

In Ep 2 the Kamino Prime Minister asks Qui-Gon if Sifo-Dyas is still a leading member of the Jedi Council. Like Circe said, he was Dooku's friend, but was later murdered by him. He never really had a role in any canon, but he has been mentioned in many things.

i dont think this will bring the numbers lucasfilm thinks it will. i will be surprised if it makes 100 million.

Sometimes numbers aren't as important as it is to keep the franchise alive and fresh in the minds of fans, the media and pop culture. I mean just look at some of the old cartoons, Christmas specials and so on; they didn't net much revenue, but they gave the die-hards something to feed on.
