Tried using the C&C Generals World Builder to create a map for the first time. I did pretty well, the map looked good, it was specced for 4vs4, with a little highway heading in between a mountian range that would funnel all the ground units into a pitched battle in between the bases. The map was called the Fulda Gap and had German architecture. The only problems - #1: The bases were too small and too close to one another, so buildings one computer built ended up in another computer's base, and pretty soon all the space ran out, and #2: I forgot to add the waypoints that told the computers how to attack the other player's bases.
Well, I have learned my lesson, and I am confident that the next map will turn out to be much much better. BTW, here is the link to the online guide -
Update: Version#2 of Fulda Gap is up and running, it is much better this time around, with plenty of space for base building. It is oriented for 4vs4 and the most recent played game pitted me as a Toxin General allied with three random hard computers versus two hard Chinese infantry and two hard Chinese tank generals.
Three hours later it is over, my team wins, and I end up with 1,044 unit kills and 88 enemy buildings destroyed.
