The Rebel Faction

Leia remained silent. Her face was shadowed as she approached the man slowly, with careful and deft steps.

She carried no saber today.

"An odd sort of spar you request of me today"

From her belt hung a simple long knife sheath, a slender assassin's knife, the origin of which she would probably never devulge, nestled securely within. She took another few silent steps forward.

"I do not expect it to be easy, yet perhaps I proceed with not enough caution into this bout. However, that does not make it easy for you either"

She idly kicked a pebble, and watched it skip off of the edge of the cliff thoughtfully.

"Deadly fall...."

Now she slipped out of her heavy dark brown outer Jedi Robe, and laid it with care on a rock that seemed to her would be well enough out of the way. The simplistic hilt of the knife, now fully revealed, glistened in the light, yet she did not lay a hand on it. Not yet.

She looked tranquil as she took a partial side stance, knees bent, arms coming up into a ready guard fit for one unarmed, and her hands flattened. She looked at him dubiously, an odd glitter, if not fire, coming into her eye.

"May your blade chip and shatter...."

OOC: First rule to sparring around here is that you only post your moves, not mine. Therefore, you may throw the punch, but you cannot write me throwing a counter punch. However, if you were going to do a combo(maximum of 3 moves a post, I think. Not sure) you could kick me in the stomach, write that I fall backwards, and then you can write coming towards me and trying to kick me again. But you cannot write that I grab your leg and throw you to the ground. You end your post with your attack and then let me do my own thing. A certain amount of writing my own actions is necessary, but not what you were doing. The writing itself is good, the content just happens to be a little off.

IC: The first place Leia's heel landed when she leapt into the air and with all her weight drove it into Maximus as she landed was in the middle of his gut, completely winding him, if not rupturing a few delicate internal organs. Hopping lightly as she bounced off of him, she twisted in midair and landed facing the fallen man. She had felt his emotions as he had had his short turn.

Damn, his ego was large enough to eat a Bantha for breakfast and still be hungry. Or else he just underestimated her in particular with a bit of overestimation of himself.

Like that mattered anyways.

She stooped down and retrieved the discarded vibroblade that lay nearby, held it up and examined it. She was more than safe from this odd man, all she need do really if he threatened her life or even spat in her direction was levitate him into the air kicking and screaming while she walked away idly.

She had no intention of killing, it was not her way. Not the Jedi way. She narrowed her eyes at Maximus.

"Who are you?"

OOC: Tis okay, I just wanted to make sure you knew

Of course, now I have to sour that note to mention that you are incapable of reading my mind, which means you couldn't know that I thought you were overestimating yourself or any of that. Ya only know what I say, and I said none of that.


Leia smiled at this man... Maximus. Then she bowed.

"I am Leia Organa Solo, Chief of State of the New Republic... and a Jedi Master"

She looked down at the vibroblade in her hand, then she took it by it's blade and extended the hilt back to Maximus, aware that if he took it he could easily just turn it on and make a nice big boo boo.

Nah. He had to have more honor than that. Even a Sith did, though it was a haughty honor they carried.

"Perhaps you might find this useful.... I advise you of that much"
