Oh no, I live in the north side, far far north side.
But a transformer station exploded in the Wabash area, igniting about 16,000 gallons of high grade mineral oil used as a coolant. About 5,000 residents were evacuated as the fire spread to nearby houses, luckily the fire department quickly got it contained.
They said a malfunction was to blame, and that it'll take a couple of years and about a few million dollars to replace. Which probably means another rate hike from Lakeland Electric.
