The Palestar Crusade has already been detailed as a purely story organization, but after the last thread it seems about time to make it a traditional IC faction - planetary takeovers, interaction with other factions, the whole thing. We haven't got three members, and my first big conquering thread took about six planets all at once without the usual spacing out time, but I'm kind of hoping by virtue of the work produced I might be permitted to waive those usual restrictions and enter the game with the six planets taken during Dacian Rising. The word count is more than twice as much as necessary, which I think might make a good case for it.
As for the faction itself, the crusade's going to be a highly active fighting faction. It's my desire to open up TRF's often heavy and tense RP environment to more messy and care-free combat, which is why pretty much anyone is invited to join. Remember the Coalition's subfaction system? The crusade would be similar, except instead of benevolent old Regrad, you'd get murderous and power-hungry Dacian. Dacian doesn't think much of secession
. Really though, anyone who wanted to create a little evil warlord, take a planet, and swear loyalty to Dacian would be in. No promises on wether or not they'd eventually be usurped or destroyed in an intrigue!I look forwards to picking fights with people across the galaxy and restoring a sense of bloody, senseless horror and devestation to galactic warfare. Battle's way more fun when you don't care about casualties!
