The Rebel Faction

Task Force Minotaur eased themselves out of hyperspace in the system of the former pirate base Myrkr. It was long over due for some serious Rogue Imperial policeing. It must have been obvious to the Alliance that the Rogue Empire was up to something, as they had constructed a new space station just outside the Alliance space limits, and thus had begun stocking it with TIE Defenders.

Vice Admiral Stockton was assigned to this mission, being told to clear the way for a major military station, and to eradicate the system of any Alliance forces. The <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Imperial<!--EZCODE ITALIC END-->-Class Mark II Star Destroyer <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Mediocre<!--EZCODE ITALIC END--> was leading the Minotaur group of one Dreadnaught, one Carrack cruiser, one Strike Cruiser, and two Star Destroyers toward the beautiful planet.

Stockton was a young man from Chandrilla, too young to be an admiral, but due to the lack of good personnel, and his outstanding military abilities, he was quickly given the rank. He was about 5'8" and had short, dark brown hair. He was very able, and had no doubts in any of his men, never losing confidence in them.

"Attention Alliance forces," he started into his intercom, his Coruscant-Imperial accent very strong indeed. "let it be known that this is now Rogue Imperial space, heed down immediately, or suffer the consequences, we will act hostily."

Now it was a waiting game, to see if they'd respond with open arms...or blazing arms.

<!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Admiral Jump also heard the message. He immeaditly set up his battle fleet in seperate ships all rainging in a circle behind him. The m'ytil Fighters were launched and ready for missiling duty or antifighter. The X-wings were also launched also prepared for missiling duty. They were ready and then they charged. The 2 strike cruisers went after the other strike cruiser. His Armadia Thrustships Gunship and Dinefet cruiser all went after the Carrack Cruiser. 2 of the Hapan Battle dragons went after the Dreadnaught. The rest of the Battle Dragons went after 1 of the Star Destroyer while the 5 defenders went after the other. This left the<!--EZCODE ITALIC END--> Mediocre <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> to the Menace. The Hapan Battle Dragons were putting out pulse-mass mines. Effectively blocking off the system. The m'ytil fighters were doing bombing runs with their Thermal Detonaters agains the Carrack cruiser and the X-wings were firing their missiles against the Carrack cruiser also.<!--EZCODE ITALIC END-->

"Relay, track opposing vessels on interception course! Gunnery, raise defense damnpenning systems and charge all weapons."

Adalric's task force had leapt into a flurry of conflict that had ensued prior his arrival. Relay faxed a direct report to Cronus' Battle Analysis Computer, the miniframe computing device integrated into the Tactical Command Console. Picking up the fax earnestly, he overlooked the data sheet's contents in amusement.

<!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> So it appears that Logan has manipulated his forces to his doing...<!--EZCODE ITALIC END--> or so the situation seemed. Yet however, the rebel task force had just vectored into Myrkr realspace, getting the jump on the current matters.

Fearsons task force was nearly planetside, yet Cronus did not seemingly anticipate the Rouge emporer's goals here. No matter, he would accomplish his own, with ot without aid.

"Helm, position the task force in a pre emptive setting for a Marg Sabl closure maneuver. Bring us to sublight speed three point four. Lock in coordinates for the Myrkr's current logistical targets."

As his words were barely flowing through his lips as the entire tsak force shifted their vector from the rebel fleet and began a so, casual decent towards the Myrkr's desired targets, ripe for the plucking. Tactical A-wing and heavily outfitted B-wing squadrons had just been launched prior to vectoring into Myrkr realspace. Khurgee had been under command of the division's support squadrons, and was now directing his B-wing and A-wing groups.

"Right..."

Adressing his B-wing formations...

"... gold group, green group, red group, yellow group, take flanking positions on our starboard side of the task force to intercept enemy craft once the scenario presents itself."

Adressing his A-wing detachment...

"Squadrons 1-3, intercept target alpha, lock on and destroy, move in formation with your Victory escorts, over."

The first three line ups of the A-wing detachment joined up with their three Victory destroyer escorts and proceeded on target.

"Squadrons 4-6, intercept target beta, lock on and destroy, move in formation with <!--EZCODE BOLD START--> your<!--EZCODE BOLD END--> Victory escorts, over."

The second detachments joined in formation with their three Victor destroyers and followed suit in tandem en route to intercept the next logistical facility.

"Squadrons 7-8, move to cover formation with the <!--EZCODE BOLD START--> Blaze<!--EZCODE BOLD END-->, over."

The last two regiments of fighters shifted their thrust and vector, to match the command destroyer. Khurgee nodded to Cronus, who took lead in directing the last three Victory destroyers.

"Blaze of Glory to last Victory escorts, move in formation with a Scimitar bomber squadron heading to your vector, then proceed to target epsilon, over. Allow bomber sqaudron to proceed in monotary runs before commencing fire."

The last three Victory destroyers rondevouzed with a nearby and newly commisioned Scimitar bomber squadron and proceeded to bear down upon the shipyard facilities that resided in Myrkr's atmostphere.

Adalric upon completing his orders towards his inferior officers, sent a petition to Chadd Fearsons for an gesture of aid against the rebel threat as to complete his objectives.

"Lead, take flanking marks."

Jakeel Marcus of 1st flight was directing the taskforce out to destroy target Alpha. His shaggy eyebrows somewhat ironically obscured his vission, though this did not impair his sevices and his duties

"Alright gents... assume combat position, bring sublight speed evasive countdown."

The cluster of A-wing vessels bore down on the lone shipyard, their bow's streaking towards differentiating points on the construct.

"2nd flight, target shield units of the phylon, then break vertical thirty degrees after your run."

His eyes followed the lead formations as 2nd flight gathered momentum towards the glittering target ahead of his group.

"3rd flight, break into wing formations, target all propulsion systems, after your run, break starboard thirty degrees."

Once again, another flight increased their propulsion units, and split into four groups of three fighters, each group monitoring the pacification of the shipyards momentum systems.

"1st flight, after our other two groups have gained ground on the target, we'll proceed for a final strike. Concussion weapon units only, strafe it's port, then break port thirty degrees."

2nd flight was quick for the objective, leaving the shipyard effectively disabled with a barrage of energy weapons. They banked in a vertical yaw thirty degrees, and returned to accompany their Victory escort back in formation to the <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Blaze<!--EZCODE ITALIC END-->. 3rd flight's four wing's broke formation in unison, each wing maneuvering to knock out the constructs propulsion systems. Municiple explosions countered off the shipyards as it lost it's means of momentum. 1st flight came around the bend at an arch, unleashing a hail of concussion missiles cattering off the shipyard's exterior, sending chain reactions of explosions throughout the construct. 1st flight came around the platform's port, and returned to it's taskforce. The shipyard exploded violently, vaporizing ionized metal and sending fragment's of debris hurtling into the atmosphere.
