Admiral Joe Schmoe

Once again Admiral Joe Schmoe was on the outskirts of a system. Once again he planned to take it over. The target was Bilbiringi. Once there was many free shipyards, Kuat, Sluis Van, Fondor and Corellia. But know Bilbiringi was the largest free shipyard that was open ripe for the taking you might say. But they had to be careful. They didn't want the Bilbiringin's detonating their shipyard to stop it from falling into Chimeran hands. The troop transports. Were loaded ready to launch the second they left hyperspace. All fighters were prepped they would launch right after the freighters because the shuttles were more important. All squadron commanders had specific orders and specific vectors asigned to them. They had to cover the shuttles and then cover the men inside the space station. Admiral Joe didn't want to risk bringing his ships so close to the station at full power. It was know time. He didn't have anymore time to think about the operation. His men were drilled well and they could take on a bunch of engineers no problem. But he couldn't think of that that was General Seany's job. His job was to make sure they got it there and then to cover them. But he could never begin if he didn't jump to Hyperspace.
"Begin the Jump to Hyperspace."
 Ahead of him the stars elognated into streaks of light. He had seen it so many times on so many different hyperspace jumps but this one was to be a bit different. It was a lot shorter. With a blaze of glory Chimera Fleet dropped out of hyperspace.
"Launch" he yelled
 The words were bairly out of his mouth before a transport was flying out under the bridge. Chimera Fleet had arrived at Bilbiringi

The Shuttles zoomed out away from their carriers. right behind them were the 10 squadrons of fighters. Every occupant in the shuttles were armed with ionization blasters plus their normal gear to take out any bombs if there is any. The Fighters almost immeaditly encountered trouble. There was a patrol out around the shipyard and they stumbeled on the fighters. It was a massacre. outnumbered ten to one the opposing fighters barely got a shot off before they were destroyed. But know the enemy knew that they were hear and there response was quick. The closest Imperial Star Destroyer launched all of it's fighters while 4 squadrons of ground-based ties were also launched. The fighters were evenly matched but they wouldn't be getting any help from the capital ships. They were busy duking it out with 1 Golan 1 Victory Star Destroyer and 1 Imperial Star Destroyer.Imperial Desth went straight at the Imperial Star Destroyer all guns blazing with the Intredictor and the Escort Carrier not far behind. In between them the fighters were mixing it up with the Corellian Gunships and the other fighter while the  Lusankya and  Avarice. Went after the Golan. While the  Tyrant and the  Avenger went after the Victory Star Destroyer. Admiral Joe sat back with a sigh. The battle was going well. He didn't need to do anything let his own captains do the work.

 Newly promoted Rear-Admiral Huchock was quite happy. Finally they were taking a world that resembeled his own Sluis Van. Up ahead he could see the opposing Star Destroyer. It's IFF labeled it as the  Adjucator. What a sappy name he thought. It's worthy of the Rebels not a former Imperial Shipyard. But soon he'd have to take former out of that name because pnce this operation was over it would be once again a Imperial Shipyard. But he should concentrate on trhe battle. It was going well.  Tyrant and  Avenger had double the strength of their target and it's shields were beginning to fail. Time to transmit a surrender order. He thought.
"Captain of the  Adjucator surrender your ship and we'll cease fire." he said
"This is the captain. What proof do I have that you won't just kill me and my crew." ame the response
"You could send a call out to the Pantolomin system and find out what we did with the prisoners there, or you can just believe me, or you can be destroyed." Huchock replied
"I really don't have a choice do I. I surrender." he said
"Good then prepare to be boarded." Huchock said
"Though I must warn you that your pitful fleet dosn't stand a chance against the Bilbiringi naval forces." the captain replied
"We'll see about that." Huchock said with a smile.
"Once the shuttles return nsend a boarding party over to the  Adjucator" Huchock said to the comm officer "And also order the  Avenger to cease fire."
"Yes sir" the comm offi

General Seany onboard the lead shuttle smiled. Taking out targets was his favourite pastime. The only other thing he liked in life was making up new R&Ds for Admiral Joe Schmoe. The shipyard as long as it was would be no problem. His troops were the elite commandoes and shock troopers of the Chimerian fleet. Nothing could stop them. As the shuttles docked General Seany was the first to get off. He always les his troops into battle with him at the front. Not like other commanders who lead the troops from behind. General Seany hated commanders who did that. That should fear too the troops and then the troops would be nervous and shoot a the littlest noise possibly giving away the presence that the troops were their. Unfortunatly he had to stop thinking about erelevent things. He had a mission to do.
"Alright men go to the new imperial star destroyer that is building. I want it destroyed. Be careful though. There will probably be bombs and mines. Before"
 This was one of the reasons the troops loved General Seany. He always got to the point and warned the troops about what dangers they faced. He never took troops into combat under false ideas. The troops headed to the Imperial Star Destroyer.

Before the troops move very far they scanned for mines and bombs. They didn't find anything but doing a better scan they found some thermal detenators and FEX-M3 grenades. The troops quickly shot their inonization blaster and disarmed the thermal detenators.

They also disarmed the FEX-M3 grenades. They walked farther into the shipyard. As they walked they found more and more traps. Finally they made it to the imperial star destroyer. Their they found a lot of workers which they quickly stunned using their wrist lasers. They didn't lose a single man. When thwy made it to the imperial star destroyer they loaded the reactor up with class-A thermal detenators designed to take out the ship once it had left the shipyard. Just after the commandoes left the ship it started to mave away from the shipyard towards the CF ships. After it was far enough from the shipyard the thermal detenators inside the reactor core blew up taking out the ship. By then the troops had moved towards the center of the shipyard. Their they fond the mines and bombs that they to take out. They quiickly stunned a few workers and shot their inonization blasters. All the mines were diactivated. Then the troops went to different parts of the shipyard taking out ships and stunning workers and disarming bombs, mines and grenades. They even had to kill a few guards. They did their job quickly and very well. They completly went through the shipyard and destroyed all ships and stunned all workers. They knew that the Grand Admiral and General seany would have nothing to complain about. They might even get a bonus or raise. The troops quickly went to the spot they had been landed at and boarded the shuttles. Then they were flown back to the Imperial Death.

Aboard the  Avarice
 Rear-Admiral Valdrig looked on at the preceedings with glee. th Golan. Strong as it was didn't stand a chance against 1 Imperial Class Star Destroyers and an Ion Cannon Cruiser.The Shields were already down on the Starboard side of the Golan and the Avarice was there disabiling it. Meanwhile the  Lusankya had moved over to the port side and was busy destroying the shields. But it wasn't without a price. The Golan still had alot of destructive energy inside it and it was firing at the Chimeran ships slowly melting away the shields.
"Sir primary shields are down." The aide ran up to Valdrig with fear in his eye.
"Activate the secondary shields. They're just as strong and the Golan's almost dead." Valdrig responded
"Yes sir." the aide said
"Good do it know" Valdrig said.
 The secondary shields on The Cruiser went up just as the starboard side of the station was disabeled. A cheer ran through the bridge.
"Good then let's go over to the Port side and help the  Lusankya" yelled Valdrig
 But they didn't need to by the time they got there the Lusankya had disabeled the shields and had also disabeled that side of the station. it was time for Valdrig to do the duty that so many other captains in the Chimeran Fleet were doing or had done. Transmit a surrender order.
"Comm open a channel to the Golan." said Vladrig
"Which one sir?" he asked
"What do you mean which one?" Valdrig responded
 In answer the Comm officer pointed out the viewport where a Golan II defense platform was coming into view.
"Sithspawn he swore. The one that we just disabeled sensors why didn't you tell me about that station?" yelled Valdrig
"Sir the planet was blocking our sensors we didn't know untill it came into view a second ago." said the sensors officer
"Channel Open sir" said the comm officer
"Commander of the Golan Space Defense Platform this is Admiral Joe Schmoe. Surrender know and you won't be destroyed." said Valdrig
"This is Commander Whenk. I surrender." came the reply
"Godd I'll have some shuttles pick you up soon." said Valdrig
"OK I'll be waiting for them" came the reply
"Comm cut transmission. Then comm the Landing Bricks and the sentennials and tell them to prepare for pickup." ordered Valdrig
"Transmission cut. Message snet to the shuttles. They responded." said the comm officer.

Aboard  Destruction...........
 The Battle was going well. The first part of the opposing force, was disabeled. Shuttles were already on their way to take the troopers aboard. And the reinforcements had arrived. His fleet was know almost doubeled. It was time to take the fight home. They all formed up with Admiral Joe on his new flagship the Destruction . The rest of the fleet was arrayed in a wedge behind his flagship.And know they were ready. Know scouting with fancy cloaking shields. Just a plain good old frontal charge. The fleet surged forward in space, the fighters were arrayed around them. The extra 150 shadow droids had been quite helpful. Up ahead 2 Golan II's blocked the way with 3 Imperial Star Destroyers and 2 Victory Star Destroyers backing them up. All the opposing ships launched their fighters.The Chimera Fleet fighters swarmed ahead to meet the oncoming foe. Then the battle was joined. Fighters went into dogfights, rolling and looping around explosions lit up the sky. The Cpaital ships had closed to firing range. Keeping with already established protocols, they only used turbolaser to take down the shields. The Ion Cannon Cruiser was a blaze of blue energy, with 120 Ion Cannons shooting in all directions while the Proton Torpedo launchers shot their blue projectiles. Suddenly 2 blue shots came from the ground. They were followed by 2 green shots. It appeared they were targeting the rearmost ships hoping that they wouldn't hit their own ships. Suddenly a aide ran up to Admiral Joe Schmoe.
"Sir we've detected 4 surface batteries. They hit the  Imperial Death. they report mimimal damage and they're moving up to join the main attack. Also we have reports on a Gencore II shield around Bilbiringi. It appears to be projecting from a small moon and there's a Gencore I shield also projected from the moon that covers the moon and stops us from landing troops." said the aide
"Tell all fighters to stay away from shield. The Capital ships are all to move in close to the opposing ships so they won't get hit. We'll send a strike team later." said Admiral Joe.

Admiral Joe Schmoe was tired. He'd seen to much death lately too much destruction. All he wanted to do know was get this operation over with. Then he could go do something else. Like rebuild the homes destroyed in the TRE bombardement of Sluis Van. So know he issued a surrender order to the enemy. If the ships orbiting ceased fire and the surface batteries didn't fire. He would come down to the planet and talk with the planetary governer. Within moments they responded. Yes the shield would be dropped. He'd be allowed to bring 1 aide and 4 bodyguards with him. Admiral Joe responded. and sent for a shuttle to be prepared. Then he sent for his aide and his four best bodyguards to meet him. Hew decided not to bring any Aar-Aar's just Imperial Royal Guards. But instead of Red their uniforms was a dark navy with the Chimaeran Syndicate crest on their chest. He quickly walked to his shuttle. Once he reached it he nodded to his aide and bodyguards. Then he was past them up in to the cockpit of the shuttle. He had decided to pilot this shuttlehis 4 bodyguards would accompany him in Tie Defenders. With a roar they left the hangar bay. Quickly they headed towards the planet. They had a meeting and they weren't about to be late for it.
20 Minutes later....
 Admiral Joe Schmoe stepped out of the shuttle and looked around. Looking around all he saw was barrne rock. But that was what he'd been expecting after all it wasn't like Bilbiringi was a great tourist attraction. Unlike Aldeeran. A pity that it was blown up but that wasn't important know. Getting these peoples loyalties over on his side was what was important. Up ahead he could see a obese man wearing a Moff's uniform. Around him were a cluster of aides. Admiral Joe walked up to him and returned the salute from the Governer. Clearly despite the fact that no man as fat as he would be in the military the Governer wanted to convey the impression that he was militarily proper. Then the man began to speak.
"Greetings Grand Admiral Schmoe. It is nice to meet you face to face. When you enetered this system I must admit that many of our citizens thought that your fleet would raise everything. But clearly you were here to aquire some real-estate in fairly good condition. If you would come here, my office is this way." said the Governer
 Then he walked off trying to march but Failing miserably. His large Pot Belly stopped him from doing it properly. Beside his malked Admiral Joe. With his bodyguards right behind them moving silently forward as if they were floating instead of walking. Behind them came the governers many aides and his aide. Once they reached the office Admiral Joe could see that it was elegantly furnished. With the latest styles. There was a extremely expensive Wampa hair carpet. Real greel wood lined the wall and there were many gold statues. One of them was made completely of Corusca Stones. It must have been worth billions. Another Statue was made out of pure gold an set with rainbow gems. That must have been worth Trillions. The Goverener sat down in a Wampa Hide chair behins a desk which was set with many stones. Among them were Rainbow Gems, Corusca Stones and many other valuable jewels. Joe didn't even want to guess how much that cost. Joe sat in the offered seat with his aide and bodyguards standing behind him. The governers aides were all arrayed behind him. Then the Governer leaned forward and began to talk.
"Frankly sir. I don't see what joining your syndicate will give the people of Bilbiringi. I don't believe that you can provide adequate defense. After all. There are rumours of a great Chimaeran Syndicate defeat agains The Rogue Empire. Maybe we would have done better joining them." said the Goverener
 Joe winced at the mention of his defeat so many good men lost.
"Well first of all we can provide you with better defense than you have know. Second of all you will receive direct trade links with all of The Chimaeran Syndicate worlds. Further enriching you. Though it dosn't look like you need any more enriching. Thirdly we can expand your shipbuilding capacities, furthermore enriching you and fourthly, you will have a restructurring of your military. Because your commanders are not exactly the best in the galaxy. Is that reasons enough?" said Admiral Joe Schmoe
"Not really. We could get all this from The Rogue Empire and maybe even more." said the governer.
"True you could but The Rogue Empire isn't interested in Bilbiringi at the moment. And if you keep on waiting maybe some other group like the Naboo Sith Order will come first. And you would much prefer me on your world then the Sith. And if you would prefer the Sith. Consider my Battle fleet in orbit another reason to join the syndicate." said Admiral Joe Schmoe
 Suddenly there was a flurry of motion at the back of the room. Suddenly one of the aides had a blaster in his hand and began shooting wildly at the Governer. But before he could hit the Governer he was bisected by force pike from Joe's guards. The Governer appeared very shaken.
"Th thank you. I will t take your offer in in into consideration b but I must say that after that rescue today. You have a very good chance of receiving my allegiance. Tomorrow I shall tell you my descision. Tonight shall you dine with me and then you can stay in my mansion." said the Governer
 Admiral Joe nodded.
"Thank you I shall accept your invitation." said Joe

later at the Mansion.......
 Admiral Joe Schmoe thought he'd been impressed when he'd seen the Govereners office. But it was nothing compared to his Mansion. If there had been a Zillion Credits in their their must be 100 times that amount here. And that was just in the furnishings. When he'd first arrived he'd been overwhelmed by the Mansions size. He was actually surprised that a planet with as limited space forces as Bilbiringi could afford a residence for their Governer this big. It had an outdoor pool, beautifal gardens with many beautifal statues in their and a huge outdoor deck. And then he saw the inside. There was 3 Huge rooms dedecated to art collecting, each room must have been wortha billion credits and the Governer said it was just a minor hobby! The rest of the room were decorated tastefully in the latest style. Thr guest room had wampa covers and carpets. The gouveneur had many servants and every one of them was a human! Know that was surprising considering that droids would be much cheaper. And then Admiral Joe Schmoe entered the dinning room. He was amazed at evrythig. The table was made of real Worshyr wood, one of the most expensive woods in the galaxy. There was a beautiful and giant chandilier made out of Corusca gems. the plates and cutlery were solid gold. RThey went perfectly with the table and serviettes weaved with gold fibers. the food was magnificent. There was selections from hundreds of worlds. Admiral Joe Schmoe was taking this all in, in silence and enjoying the food which was much better then normal military rations when the gouveneur struck up conversation.
"Tell me about your Chimaeran Syndicate." said the gouveneur.
"Well, it is a pretty small gouverment now, but it is growing bigger all the time." said Admiral Joe Schmoe.
"How did it come to be?" asked the gouveneur.
"Well as you know the Rebel victory at Endor left the Empire in a disarray, some admirals ran off and became warlords, like Warlord Zsinj. Other stayed with the Empire. State Prestage had command of the Empire but then Ysanne Isard took over when that Prince-Admiral, i forget his name, killed State Prestage. Then she was killed by Tycho Celchu when the ex-Rogues attacked Thyferra. Captain Palleon nominally had the command of the Imperial Fleet. Then Grand Admiral Thrawn returned form the Unknow Regions. He took control of the Empire with Captain Palleon as his second in command. He waged war quite successfully and won back much of the Empire's lost territory. But then disaster struck. He was killed at Bilbiringi by a rebel nogrhi, Rukh. Captain Palleon retreated the Imperial Fleet in Grand Admiral Thrawn's place and the Rebels took Bilbringi and the shipyards. Then the reincarnated Emperor appeared. He won back a lot of our former territory including Bilbringi and Coruscant. The New Republic was reeling. They still had a large fleet but not many worlds. Once again Captain Palleon took command of the fleet. And once again disaster struck. The New Republice killed Captain Palleon over Corellia. The fleet was decimated and i as his second-in-command retreated to our last stronghold Sluis Van. I secretely rebuilt my fleet. Then once I was ready to publically declare our reincarnation I allied with The Rogue Empire because they looked like the best bet to bring back the Empire. But disputes over certain protocols forced me to leave. And then I decided to form a goverment. The Chimaeran Syndicate. But I must be boring to you" said Joe who had just know realized that he'd been dronning on and on.
"Oh no" said the governer "and know that supper's over I have a few presents for you."
 Then the governer clapped his hands and servants appeared each carrying a velvet cusion. The first one dropped to his knees. On the cusion was a odd looking gun.
"From the Hapes Consortium the Gun of Command." saod the Governer
 Joe nodded and took the gun already in his holster out. He handed this gun back to his bodyguard and he put the Gun of Command in his holster. Then the second servant came forward. On this cusion there was a holocube. It showed some weirdly shaped droids that looked like beetles.
"X-1 Viper Droids. With moleculor shielded armour" said the governer.
 Admiral Joe Schmoe nodded his thanks. As the third servant came forward he wondered what could this treasure be. On this cusion there was another Holocube. This one showed a picture od a Imperial Star Destroyer. Finally the last servant cam forward. On his cusion there was another Holocube. This one showed a bunch of rocks Admiral Joe Schmoe must have looked confused because the governer laughed.
"Our most valuable treasure Hibridium ore. It has marvellous cloaking capabilities and there's enough there to cover a star destroyer. Know I must go know because I have some other business to attend to. I believe you know where your quarters are?" said the governer
 Joe nodded and the governer waddeled out of the room still trying to march and still failing miserably. Then Joe stood up and left the room also motioning for his aide and bodyguards to follow him.
Later that night.......
 Admiral Joe Schmoe had his bodyguards arranged around his room. 2 were outside his door and another 2 were right inside his room. He was about to prepare for bed but first he was briefing his aide.
"I want you to go out there and talk to the regular people like the Shipyard workers. Talk to them about their living conditions and what they think about the giverment. Something's fishy here Bilbiringi isn't supposed to be this rich." said Admiral Joe Schmoe
 The aide nodded and then he slipped out of the room off to complete his mission. Then Admiral Joe Schmoe got ready for bed. He went to sleep. But his dreams wer filled with nightmares. A weird shape in the sky with a green light emmiting form one end. Armies of clones. People screaming explosions. And then suddenly it was morning. He got up and walked outside with a robe on. Walking around the garden he marvelled at the beauty of the place. Suddenly his comlink beeped and he pulled it out. It was his aide.
"Joe I think you should see this" he said........

When Gvell left the Admiral's room he immeaditly ran outside. He met a few guards but they only nodded at him recognizing that he was Admiral Joe Schmoe's aide. Once he was off the ground he immeaditly began walking to the main worker barracks facility. He figured that it was as good a place as anywhere else. Just as he was reaching the barracks a strange noise reached his ear. It sounded like shouting. Suddenly off to his right he heard a blaster shot. Running towards the sign of the commotion he discovered, that there was a huge protest going on. Hundreds of workers mabey even thousands of workers were marching in protest. They were carrying signs that showed a Death Star with a circle with a line through across. Kind of like no smoking signs
