It was a Strategy game where you had a screen of the different systems and planets you could invade. I also seem to remember you had an 'advisor' in the bottom right hand corner of the screen. Can anybody help me?

I just can't remember what it's called. Some critics said i was boring but I found it quite interesting, and genuinely difficult.

Star Wars: Rebellion

Back with a Vengeance
It's called Rebellion in the U.S., and Supremacy in the U.K. and Australia.

fuck that duck
I like it when Cracker tries to sound smart, because he's usually wrong and I get to make fun of him.
Star Wars: Rebellion - it was released as Supremacy in the United Kingdom. Awesome game, I should try and find my copy... heh.
eBay is your friend, in this case, since the game is out of production: http://search.ebay.com/search/search.dll?sofocus=bs&sbrftog=1&from=R10&_trksid=m37&satitle=star+wars%3A+rebellion&sacat=1249%26catref%3DC6&sargn=-1%26saslc%3D2&sadis=200&fpos=ZIP%2FPostal&sabfmts=1&saobfmts=insif&ftrt=1&ftrv=1&saprclo=&saprchi=&fsop=1%26fsoo%3D1&coaction=compare&copagenum=1&coentrypage=search

"So the woman asked me what I wanted on the sandwich and I said I do not care it is for a duck, and she was like oh then it's free. I was not aware that ducks eat for free at Subway. It's like give me a chicken fajita sub, but don't worry about ringing it up, it is for a duck.”

Kneel Before Zod!
Yeah, Rebellion. That's the one Andrew.

Back with a Vengeance
Huh, even LucasArts removed it from their classics page. Used to you could order it off of there for 40$. That's where I got my copy.
And before you laugh at me, it included a complete strategy guide of the game, meaning it didn't take me forever to actually learn how to play.

All copies of Rebellion had a very detailed manual/strategy guide... the game was complicated enough, it needed one.

Ugh. I remember that game... it was complicated. And, quite honestly, had a severe lack of 'control', as it were. I enjoy being in the thick of the fight, and being more proactive than administrating planets and dictating their futures.
...until I can be bothered doing the latter, heh.

Not What He Seems
That game is quite possibly my favorite Star Wars game ever.
I played in several epic games over a LAN, including one that saw over 50 planets destroyed by my opponents Death Star, and one that lasted 3000 in game days- 10 years of fictional fighting!
