After the last of the Dreadnaughts had been destroyed, Gavyn headed back down to the planet again. He now stood in the meeting room with his brother, Gavin Sykes.
"So, will you join with us yet?" Gavyn asked.
"Well... You are very powerful and all, but you happen to be allied with some Imperials." Gavin replied.
"Haven't you noticed? They are Rogue Imperials, and are lead by a Jedi. They are not true Imperials. You might also want to notice that we are allied with The New Alliance, and they are not Imperials." Gavyn replied.
"The Rogue Imperials are still Imperials," protested Gavin,"And there is nothing you can do to change that."
'If you want us to take you by force, than so be it." Gavyn replied, and walked out of the room.

Several minutes later...
Gavyn sat on board the bridge of
Death's Shadow.
"Send down tha AT-HA's and about 1500 soldiers. Land them 5 kilometres from where that Kubaz army is forming." Gavyn said.
"As you wish, sir."
The AT-HA's detached thenselves from the sides of
Death's Shadow and began to move down towards the planet, followed be several shuttles loaded with troops.

Several minutes later...
The AT-HA's had landed in an open field, 5 kilometres from the Kubaz army. Since Gavyn Sykes was up on
Shadow Defender commanding it there,Thomas Horn, a starfighter pilot, would be commanding the troops.
"All AT-HA's open fire with your Heavy Particle Beams. They have a range of five kilometres." Thomas said.
Beams shot out from the five AT-HA's and began to wipe out huge chunks of the advancing Kubaz army. Thomas knew that they would never reach his army in time. Unless they tried to surround him. He quickly looked behind him and saw 10 AT-AT's, 15 AT-ST's, 20 AT-PT's and some Kubaz troops approaching form the other side.
"Use two of the Turrtes to fire behind." Thomas said, and wathced in glee as 5 AT-AT's went downin giant fireballs. Those cannons were powerful. The AT-HA's continued to fire, and the rst of the AT-AT's wnet down, followed by the AT-ST's. The AT-PT's were now approaching fast, and were almost in range. But not for long. The Heavy Pariticle Beams fired some more shots, and destroyed the AT-PT's and the remaining troops on that side. Thomas turned to face the other way, but noticed in the corner of his eye, several TIE Bombers approacing.
"All AT-HA's target the TIE Bombers. Don't let them get in range." Thomas said
The Heavy Particle Beams and the Turbolaser Pulsers opened fire, and quickly downed the fighters. Another bunch came. They were again destroyed. Then another. Destroyed agian. Then, finally realizing that they were just losing ships, the Kubaz atopped their air assault. They weren't done on the ground yet though. All of the approaching Kybaz had been destroyed, nut now some more approached. It appeared that there was almost 100 AT-AT's. The AT-HA's were far more powerful though. They began to fire, and picked of 20 AT-At's in each salvo. There was 100, then 80. Then there was 60, and then there was 40. In two more salvo's they were all gone. Thomas thought that it was getting to easy. Then troops started approaching from all sides. The AT-HA's worked together, each taking a side, leaving one to fire in all directions. That left 5 Heavy Particle Beams, and 2 or 3 Turbloaser Pulsors for each side. It would still be enough. The approaching troops were quickly downed, but MCR was given no time to regroup. These troops were followed by bunches of AT-AT's and AT-ST's. Then some more TIE Bombers approached. The middle AT-HA started on air duty, wiping out flights of fighters in single salvos. It was too easy.

Death's Shadow...
Gavyn sat on the bridge, awaiting the assault of the Kubaz. They had quite a force down on the planet, but nothing the AT-Ha's couldn't handle. Now he was waiting for their fleet to arrive. He knew it would be quite large.
"Sir, there fleet has arrived." a young officer said,"It appears to be made of Imperial ships. There is 5 Imperial-Class Star Destroyers, and 2 Victory-Class Star Destroyers, with full fighter compliment."
"Launch all of the fighters. Use the same tecnique we used on the Dreadnaughts, starting with the Imperial-Class."
"As you wish, sir."
The fighters launched and quickly began to engage the enemies. Gavyn knew this would be agood battle because the Kubaz forces were slightly stronger. But that qwould not help them any.
When the Mon Cla ships got in range, they opened up with blue Ion Cannon fire, all concentrated on the lead ship. It lost its shields quickly, and exploded in a huge fireball when the Proton Torpedos connected. The Mon Cal Republic quickly moved on, and downed a second ship in the same fashion. Blue Ion fire flew towards the third and fourth Imperial-Class Star Destroyers, and took down their shieds as well. Then they were torn to shreds by Torpedos. Again, Blue Ion fire shot out, but this time at the three remaining ships together. As soon as their shields were down, they exploded from Proton Torpedos. The fighters had nowhere to go. They were TIE Fighters and Interceptors, so therefore not equiped with hyperdrives. The Mon Cal Republics TIE Defenders were in far superior numbers and were more heavily aremed and shielded, so they brought down the fighters quickly. Gavyn wondered if the Kubaz would be willing to side with them yet...
