The Rebel Faction

It is cold and dark in space,lit only by the light of the stars.But in this case it was lit by The New Alliance Star Destroyer <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Keerow<!--EZCODE ITALIC END-->.The <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Keerow<!--EZCODE ITALIC END--> and it's task force of 2 Correlian Gunships and another Star Destroyer <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Retribution<!--EZCODE ITALIC END--> were a hundredth of a lightyear from the Information planet of Obroa-Skai.

Myrkr was nearby and the leaders of The New Alliance wanted Obroa-Skai for two reasons.
One, because of it's close proximity to Myrkr.
Two, because of the vast Libraries in Obroa-Skai's main city.

Grand Admiral Logan stood on the bridge of the <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Keerow<!--EZCODE ITALIC END--> with Captai Neychev sitting at his station next to the Grand Admiral.

"Captain,status"

"All ships report ready,Admiral"

"Good.You may enter hyperspace,Captain"

"Aye sir"

With a flash,the <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Keerow<!--EZCODE ITALIC END--> entered hyperspace.

72 seconds later the <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Keerow<!--EZCODE ITALIC END--> exited hyperspace in the Obroa-Skai system.A few seconds later it was safely in orbit.

"Captain"

"Yes sir?"

"Run constant scans of the system.I do not want to be surprised by any unwanted guests like what happened on Myrkr"

"Of course sir" Logan could tell that Neychev was a little nervous as he walked away.

Logan turned back to the screen and waited.

Logan sighed and sat back in his command chair.

"Captain, what is the last report from the shipyards?"

"The Menace-class construction just started..and The Eclipse hasn't been touched"

"Good.Have the shipyard personel been putting in good time?"

"Yes sir.They are working double time"

"Good.Prepare all of our Darktroopers for ground assault..just in case."

"Yes sir"

Neychev began talking into the comm and tapping buttons.Logan stared at him for a moment and got up and went to his special command room.

The command room was almost completely empty.Except for the quiet hum of the <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Keerow<!--EZCODE ITALIC END--> it was silent.

He sat down and called up the double-display ring,a similar disply ring had been installed on Grand Admiral Thrawn's personal Star Destroyer <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Chimera<!--EZCODE ITALIC END-->.Logan closed his eyes and went into a deep sleep.

Logan glanced up at Vonta's young face..he was suddenly feeling very old.

"If we fight we will have casualties.I have reveiwed enough casualty lists for now.Go on Admiral...enjoy the pleaures of Obroa-Skai.You also can go to the Library if you want"

Logan glanced out the window..his eyes focusing on somthing very far away.

"Belay that.Captain bring all weapon systems online.Shields up."

Vonta looked around but Logan pointed out the window.

She looked and saw a small fleet bering down on them.

"Interesting" Logan said.
"I wonder what they want."

2 Dreadnaughts
4 Nebulon-B's
4 Squad. of Headhunters
4 Coreelian Action transports (Like the Wild Karade)

Wade Vox's small ship, a YT-2400 The <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Guardian Of Peace<!--EZCODE ITALIC END-->
headed toward the group of fighters bearing down on the <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Keerow<!--EZCODE ITALIC END-->

It was Wade's first time to fly he ship.He was very happy when Vonta presented it to him.

With a point 0.50 Hyperdrive the ship was as fast as the <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Millennium Falcon<!--EZCODE ITALIC END-->.And with the two quad laser cannons on the top and bottom of the ship the <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Guardian<!--EZCODE ITALIC END--> packed quite a punch.

The headhunters zoomed toward him and he opened up with his quads.He could hear the steady <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> thud thud thud thud<!--EZCODE ITALIC END--> of the quads.Several of the starfighters exploded.Wade then opened up with his two millitary-grade Ion cannons.Suddenly an X-Wing came up on his tail.Wade pulled up hard and did a double roll to the side.But the X-Wing kept with him no matter what.

"Sir! I think we should get back to the <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Keerow<!--EZCODE ITALIC END-->!" D4 wailed.

"No D4,we have to help out as much as we can,and that means staying out here and fighting"

"Whatever you say sir"

D4 hovered over Wade's shoulder as he watched the battle.

That X-Wing kept with him.He reached out with the Force and let it surround him.Even though his eyes were half-closed he could see everything through the Force.He let the Force controll all of his actions.The X-wing unleashed a torrent of laser fire,but none of the bolts touched the <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Guardian<!--EZCODE ITALIC END--> for Wade had the Force to guide him.

Wade spun his quads around and fired at the X-Wing.It dove but Wade had already anticipated the move.The X-Wing dove right into a stream of Ion fire from the <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Guardian<!--EZCODE ITALIC END-->.

"Thank heavens!" D4 wailed happily.

"It's not over yet,D4"

Wade skimed along one of the Nebulon-B cruisers launchinf Proton Torpedos at it's turbolaser cannons.

Admiral Jump was sitting in his command chair aboard the Serena though it was smaller than the retribution he liked to use it as his flagship suddenly a message came from adm. Logan
"Sir he said to take the Serena and the Restoration to Obroa-Skai at once and to leave Retribution here." said his comm officer
Instantly Jump was standing up issuing orders to his officers.
"Instruct the Retribution to remain here tell Restoration to form up on us and prepare for a jump to hyperspace send our course to Restoration. Guns charge all the weapons and bring up the shields instruct Restoration to do likewise. Fighter control tell all the pilots to report to their ships."

He sat back in his chair and watched the stars bend into hyperspace. He wondered what had gone wrong.

some time later.....

The second Serena reverted to realspace Jump had all his questions answered.
"Tell our ties to go after the Headhunters then instruct Restoration to perform the ackbar slash on 2 of those frigates we'll take the other 2." he ordered.

4 squadrons of ties roared out of Serenas and Restorations launch bays though they matched the headhunters in numbers they had surperior pilots and they made quick work of them. Serena roared in on the 2 frigates 40 concussion missles zoomed out at each of them and destroyed their shields, then the lasers and ion cannons struck out at them also and they were quickly destroyed. the Restoration did exactly the same thing as the Serena and soon there 2 frigates were also destroyed.

Once Serena and Restoration was clear Admiral Jump radioed Admiral Logan.
"All clear do you want any help with the dreadnoughts?"
