Remember You Must Die
Could some explain what the Jedi Corps is? I searched it, but it turns up about 30 pages worth of the material, so short of reading everything I don't think that will do me much good.

The Jedi Corp. is a sect of Force users that serve as a police task force for the empire. They are pretty much less powerful Sith disguised as Jedi so that the Empire can seem all nice and friendly.

Think the "Gestapo" of the Empire. They keep tabs on Force Users and Sith within the Empire ...but they are also set to disrupting divisional influences within the Empire of non-forceusers.
The idea stemmed from Babylon 5's Psi Corps. Their organization is highly organized, sterile-like, and hold their devotion to Imperial Law. "The Corps is Mother.. the Corps is Father..."
Individually they are not as powerful if pitted against Jedi, Sith, Rogue or whatever.. .and it takes more than one to put up any sort of resistance against one... But they identify the threats... and have the MP's or Inquistoriate or ISB handle them. (or any other appropriate agency).. A jedi master or sith master can die just as easily from a blaster in the back as anyone else...
And yes, by calling it the Jedi Corps, they infer they are the true inheritors of the Jedi cause (not blinded by alien bias or alien ideologies intent on bringing down the lawful government) as Palpatine accused the Jedi Order of with the Republic back in the day.
While serving as the Empire's "poster Jedi", beneath the facade, they are a secret police..
