S'Il and Charley I wholeheartedly agree with your arguement but it seems that no matter how much you argue it and with who...that the result is always the same. I mean I could bring up how my uncle was murdered by men who were intoxicated and were carrying a hammer, just because he was a minority. But i'm not going to sit here and talk about how hammers should be outlawed because they can be deadly in the wrong hands.

I enjoy shooting because I do it for sport. I don't purchase my firearms illegally and then keep them concealled in my car just incase I see someone I hate so I can shoot them. I keep them in the guncase in my room. I take them out only when I'm shooting at Camp Perry and when I go hunting DURING hunting season where I have my legally purchased hunting license and where we're always dressed according to regulations.

Basically, you're going to have idiot people everywhere you go, don't go around trying to ruin it for those who are responsible about it.

Jesse James has suffered numerous injuries, including those to his head. Have you noticed he has a tendency to stutter? Yeah.

I will tell that to Jesse James. He's a cool guy and I dig his show, but being Jesse James renegade engineer is a bad idea, for him, or for anyone.

The best arguement I have heard for the right to bear arms is that if someone breaks in they can defend themself. That's all well and good, but statistically, more people are killed in firearm accidents then in justifiable homicides. But this isn't talked about, because as long as you're responsible, nothing will go wrong.

That's why they call them accidents. They happen despite your plans.

The responsible things would not be to lock up your weapons, but not to stock a cache of death inducing hardware in the first place.

But shooting shit is fun.

So fuck responsibility.

Most incidents of guns drawn in self defense result in the firearm not even being discharged in anger. There's something on the order of 2.5 million crimes prevented by this per year, which easily dwarfs any statistic for deaths related to accidental discharge.
