Oh, goody. More party favours!
<blockquote><strong><em>Quote:</em></strong><hr>Minutes later, one-hundred eight escape pods, floating just underneath the unshielded yards, moved upwards with their thrusters. The thirty-eight pods he had chosen were part of the troop complement of the Praetor and they carred spacesuits. All of them had explosives with them as well, in case they were captured... and... well... so the enemy would not take them alive.<hr></blockquote>
Wow! More magic? I already pointed this out, but there you go. Your troops happened to get into pods, happened to be in complete spacesuits, and happened to have explosives with them?
The ASD went critical in about thirty seconds. Unless your crews usually run around in full spacesuits, with explosives strapped across their chests like @#%$ Rambo, then this @#%$ isn't going to fly.
<blockquote><strong><em>Quote:</em></strong><hr>"ORS forces, this is Admiral Drox, cease fire on quadrants four-through eight and concentrate fire on yards three and four." He ordered through the comlink. All of the remaining Sovereignty ships turned and retreated further back, requireing the Imperial forces to follow to heep up their attacks. The Birds of Prey, along with the Bakura class destroyers moved forward just as the Imperial tractor beams attempted to capture the ships. Unfortunately, their were far too few tractor beams to actually hold the ORS ships back as each turned their engine power to max capacity.<hr></blockquote>
So we're treating weapons as if they have no effect at all, now? Awesome! Let's just ignore the effects of your weapons from now on, then, shall we?
Bullshit. Your ships are no @#%$ magical, Griff, whatever you might like to think. Tractor beams
will have an effect on them - and since the ISDs and RSDs are twice their size and have far more power inherent in them, your ships aren't dancing.
You didn't even bother to break the lock, did you?
<blockquote><strong><em>Quote:</em></strong><hr>As the rest of the ORS ships descended upon the last two yards (MC3-MC4), the pods reached the other two yards (MC1-MC2). Out of each pod came two spacesuit troopers, both carrying heavy explosives. All the troopers spread out and infiltrated the yards at damage points caused by ORS fire and went deep into each yard.<hr></blockquote>
Convience and magic aside, that was damn fast. They launched, escaped their pods, got into the yards, and set their explosives - all in one paragraph?
This wasn't something that was planned out in advance - this was a spur of the moment plan, made up on the spot with no real tactical briefing.
Magic!
<blockquote><strong><em>Quote:</em></strong><hr>Each of them set an explosive deep into the yard and then made their way out. Drox watched anxiously as they did so, and two of his own personal guard (whom he had ordered out to assist) made their way back to the pod.<hr></blockquote>
And now they're out again! More magic?
<blockquote><strong><em>Quote:</em></strong><hr>As one of the troopers made it back to a pod a few dozen meters away from Drox, the Admiral contacted him, "What is the time on your detonators?" He asked.
"One minute thirty seconds. We need to get the hell out of here." The pod responded.
Drox glanced back to the yard, where one of his personal guards had finished and was making his way back to the pod. Drox's hands clenched the steering stick of the pod, ready to pull away.<hr></blockquote>
Awesome! Say goodbye to Drox - he's dead. You just opened an escape pod door into the vacuum. Your Admiral buddy is drifting like a bloody iciicle about now.
"Thirty seconds!" The pod commander said through the comm.
<blockquote><strong><em>Quote:</em></strong><hr>Suddenly, a new voice came through the audio pickup, "Sovereignty forces. This is the Allegiance-class Star Destroyer Timeless. We are here to assist."
"This is Captain Idan of the Bakura-class Destroyer Sovereign Solace. We welcome you."<hr></blockquote>
<blockquote><strong><em>Quote:</em></strong><hr>Allegiance-class Star Destroyer Timeless...
Captain Olus peered intently at the battle readout and sensor scan. One Venerator heavily damaged... shipyards heavily damaged...
Where is the Praetor? He thought. The ASD was supposed to be here, leading the attack...
"Sir, I am picking up a debris field, it is the Praetor, sir." His second in command, Commander Marks said.
"Order Slicer Wing to go ahead and destroy the Venerator. Load missile tubes and head for the Venerator as well." Olus said.
"Shields up and lets go."<hr></blockquote>
Point out where these ships entered the system. They were listed as reinforcements some time ago - as a second set of reinforcements (again, with the grayness).
They were never posted as entering the system... And! Even assuming they were able to, they still managed to cross the entire planetary body in one paragraph?
Magic!

<blockquote><strong><em>Quote:</em></strong><hr>"Slicer Wing, form up with your respective sqaudrons. Raise shields and load missile tubes. All squadrons descend upon Target designated Red."
Wing Commander Colonel Artus of Slicer Wing looked to the left and right of his X-Wing canopy. All two hundred and eighty-eighty fighters formed up in twenty-four sqaudrons. In one massive arrowhead formation they gunned their engines and easily passed the distance and came within missile range of the stricken Venerator.
"Ready....fire!" He shouted. And at his order over five hundred proton torpdoes lanced out, crossing the distance.
They had one target: Barbarossa II
All five hundred hit the ship, give or take a few for most of the weapons on the ship had been destroyed by previous ORS forces.<hr></blockquote>
Unfortunately for you, not one missile has been fired. Why? This is called a
mass firing, and such firings require at least two posts to accomplish.
You have all of one post... not good enough.
<blockquote><strong><em>Quote:</em></strong><hr>The ship broke apart easily, for it's hull integrity was down to about nothing now, into several pieces. Then the X-Wings descended upon the pieces, firing their lasers, breaking apart the ship further, and finally, obliterating it. After that, the X-Wings retreated to screen formation with the Timeless , which came in at full speed and did not slow. The ship angled away from the Imperial formation and placed the shipyards between it and the Imperials, so when it closed the distance, it would be on the other side of the yards.
As the Barbarossa II clashed into scattered pieces, the two shipyards that had been laden with explosives, then exploded, breaking apart those as well, destroying them. The ORS forces, continued to fire at the remaining two yards.
The Bakura Destroyers moved forward, between the yards, out of the way of Imperial weapons. The Birds of Prey followed and all ORS forces continued their onslaught against the two yards, which started to break apart as well.<hr></blockquote>
All bullshit, for the above reasons and more.
