I did an interview on Bombad Radio last weekend. I texted Jeremiah (Bane) afterwards saying that I did not plug TRF as much as I should have. I blamed coming into the interview after mowing the grass but it was probably my mind going blank at the questions Bane asked (and they were not even hard questions) on the spot and it being my first time. lol..
It was a very interesting experience (first time on skype too... yeah, yeah.. I am an old fuddy-duddy) and I did have fun.
In my opinion, from what I remember of my stammering, you did a much better interview, Ahnk...
Unless Bane does some fancy editing making me sound smarter than I really am.

I can't wait to hear Omnae! And I didn't even know there was much grass to mow in Texas... honestly! I have family who lives by the gulf and they say everyone's yard is dirt and fire ants???
Hearing some of the interviews caused me to spend some time recalling the past. I actually had forgotten a significant amount of what happened during the split.
My role in RPG history became that of self-righteous TGC villain (later to become hypocrite at TRF). My name doesn't really seem to come up in a positive light very much in 'TGC history discussions' and I believe Ceel will always bear a personal grudge. Hell, I would consider Ahnk a long standing friend, and the best he can do is diagnose me with irritable bowel!
Those years of drama took a very heavy toll at a time when I realized that I would much rather burn my free time in college hanging out with friends and playing a LOT of Warcraft 3. My continued presence at TRF seemed only to be earning the ire of the members, so I ultimately stepped away for a very long time.
Besides, the easiest defense against accusations of being a power hungry dictator seems to be to try and dump all power and go away. And I was WAY better at wc3 anyways!!!

TRF truly discovered itself after I left. Omnae, Ahnk, Seth, and others who are no longer around... they are the admins who helped define TRF as a community focused on quality writing. Plenty examples of their hard work still stand in the Battlegrounds.
