As for the side-topic of fastfood that's enjoyable, there's a store by the name of Tingleys that makes excellent ice cream and slush drinks made with proper fruit instead of thick syrupy sugar. Their prices are reasonable, so I'd reccomend them.

1) did you remove the skin?
2) did you marinade the chicken? if yes, then how long?
3) did you close the grill hood?
4) if yes, then did you leave it at 350*?

your problem is probably that you timed it wrong and your heat setting is way off. if you close a grill hood at 200 degree's and it will act as an oven and gather heat as time passes. the next time you barbeque chicken you should remember to marinade the meat the night before, always skin the chicken, for a shorter time in the cooking area you could debone it or just by it deboned already if your lazy. line the grill with PAM or some sort of cooking oil so the chicken doesnt stick to the grill as it has a tendency to do so. the last thing to remember is always leave it at 350 degree's for i'd say about 10-15 minutes on each side. and always burn flame outs.
