He had succeeded to a point. Channeling the energy into the staff. But it disipated to quickely.

"Good, you can now channel the energy. But it was raw and uncontroled. Try to do the same thing again. But with a calm constant flow from the force to feed you the needed energys."

She stood by his side. His sudden burst was a start he was almost there.

"Good. Now lets us see how it holds up in combat." Vonta took her light saber from her belt igniting the silver blade.

MOving forward she Makes a slash to the upper right of Kenshins defense bubble. The move was easy to see. The glowing blade on a collision with empowered wood.

OOC:

My apologys for not posting more often Kenshin. I have been getting busy and I also wanted to get the masters say so in the Training grounds. I would like to wrap up this training session for now. So that we may concentrate on the events on teta and finish that up.

That in it's self well be a chance to forward vonta's charecter. Basically she well have been tortured and escape to lick her wounds. The Krath well be a valid enemy that she well fight for some time to come.

OOC: Yes this well be a way that you met vonta prior to the Krath thread.

IC:

Vonta Give a little smile her self the padawan learns fast. She decides to switch tactics a bit. She Disengages the light saber and empowers the hilt alone with the other hand. Using aiki empowerment techniques.

She glides past him and behind him. Blocking a attempt to catch her with the staff with the hilt of the saber. She drops him with a drop kick and then reignites her saber waiting for the next counter attack.

OOC: Some what like that I suppose. Drop kick as in jumping in midair and dedicating your bodys movment to a single thrust of one leg. Falling to the ground with the same momentum that you innittially had unable to regain your feet under you before you touch ground again due to the fact that you dedicate your momentum to going forward.

IC:

The back flip cost him. The concentration that it takes to maintain the force empowerment wavered in that moment. She Side steped the end of the staff. With a up cutting slice of her saber she cuts the staff a quarter of the way through.

She cuts the power to her saber and Empowers her fist. The cut was enough to weaken the structure of the staff for a force powered palm to shatter it in half.

"Enough. You have the idea to it. But it needs to be practiced. I managed to cut into the staff showing me that it was not fully empowered the whole time. With practice you well make a empowered weapon impervious to a light saber."

She stood and made a small bow to her opponent. A sign of respect amoung most of the fighters that she had ever known.
