It's been six days and I've only managed to claw my way to 14,929. Since today is the fourteenth, that makes tommorow the fifteenth and thus the pace is to hit 25,000 words tommorow. So yeah. If when tommorow ends, I don't have 20,000 at least, I'm going to have to drop out.

Just the amount of words that you have is very impressive, Ahnk. I don't think you should drop out just because you can't make their deadline. Make you own deadline!

It's not THAT impressive. The largest text file I have on here is 47,000~ words, which is pretty close to the deadline. I have a few TRF roleplays scattered here or there over 15 k. Genesis, my parts, same for Legacies with that rediculous Vejuun post.

In this stretch of time though, I think I've done about as well as I could have hoped for, considering.

Well I'm still on 3k and I'm not planning on giving up any time soon. Might as well see it through until the end of the month is all I reckon.

I got to 8k. It really isn't all that great, and there are parts of it that just make me cringe and want to curl up and die, but I think that's mostly because my main concept kinda sucked. Helpful hint for future writers: basing an entire novel on a drunken conversation that you can only remember half of actually isn't that great an idea, despite what you may think.
