Minister of Defence
Yeah, that is annoying sometimes (if you want your signature showed).

It's extremely annoying. I'm so used to just heading for the quick reply that I don't give it another thought. Ugh.
EDIT: WTH? Now it's not showing up at all, not even when I post through the reply page. It's checked in the profile options and in the options on the post page.

Well we've passed beyond my realm of knowledge into the realm of actually computer knowledge. Hopefully one of the smarter (read: nerd) members of TRF comes along to help you out.

I'm a nerd, it's just that I'm not all that familiar with vBulletin. I like SMF better, but I can't change the software TRF is built on. Sadly. The only thing I can think of is that it's a bug that was solved in a later patch after TRF's free update term expired.

Free Update Term?
We pay for the license and hosting. Some updates our board caretaker, Titus, had features he was not too crazy about at the time.
When he gets off his honeymoon, turns off his Xbox 360, and gets permission from his wife there will probably be some updates.

Well, I didn't know if you paid for yearly licenses, which you renew each year and have access updates that way and just never bothered to use them, or bought a lifetime license some years ago and never bothered to pay the extra money after the time span in which they allow you to download free updated versions of the software. I assumed the latter, as you're still using the board, and the version is 3.0.3, while the current version of vbulletin is 3.6.8. That's all. Nothing implied in that statement that would suggest you were operating illegally.

Just archaic?

Perhaps, but no judgement implied in that. Simply a fact, based on perspective, of course, but still a fact that your version is 2 stable releases behind the current version of the software. And because of that, it may be a code glitch or something, I don't know. I'm stumped for any other answer, so that's why I have to explore that possibility.

Just wanted to make sure everyone knows we have the legal right to piss on every version update between 3.0.3 and 3.6.8.
