Vega, can you find a wooden dowel? meaning a long straight stick of some kind? Because with that, a bunch of newspapers and some Elmers glue, you can make a paper machiae(sp?) sword in under an hour or so.

I mean, you can make one without the wooden part, but people are, again, asses about that sorta thing in a costume and before you've even been dressed half an hour, they'll bend or just generally crink your blade.. but really, the only part that should take awhile is letting the whole thing dry... since I'm assuming here we all know how to do paper maichete.... which I still can't spell
