"Over The Hills And Far Away" is clearly the best Nightwish song. Either that or "Kinslayer".

Oh! I had forgotten about "10th Man Down". Thanks for reminding me.

You might be suprised to know that Nightwish are pretty successful in England, at least as far as the "goth" scene goes. "Nemo" really launched them over here.

I believe that....It was the so called selling/representing song of Once album :D Or at least it think it that way...Once is more massive than the other albums cause they had an orchester, that made the music for the LOTR movies to help them... It was from london or at least england...

You're the second, or maybe third, that I know of.
And you're not exactly a TRF regular yet, so don't take yourself as a foregone conclusion!

Three days is enough to be a regular :p :)

So who are the others? I've never met anyone from here on any RPG board.

Gary Moore. Mm. But Nightwish's version is a zillion times more awesome - although I can't say the same of their cover of Phantom of the Opera.

Another good track by them - Bless the Child.

shall we people face it? their all great! :D Nightwish rules! Kick`s ass!...that got out of hands... well there is one song not even their song maker likes: Tuomas Holopainen(plays the piano) hymophomanic fantasy from their first album: Angels fall first...On their DVD he spoke of like this:

It begins with the words: the sent of a woman was not mine...

"I stand behind all of my other song, but not this one"

Then he shakes his head.

"Fuck! How can a song start like that!? Fuck!"

:D

Quite humorous...Then in elvenpath, which tells about LOTR there is some funny lyrics:

The moonwitch took me to a ride on a broomstick
Introduced me to her old friend home gnome
Told me to keep the sauna warm for him

:p

Bless the Child is good, but I liked 'Hills' better when Gary Moore did it... wait, actually I hate all remakes. Except when Durst re-did that Who song Behind Blue Eyes. It was a decent remake of an average song.

I like Nightwish and Cradle of Filth... two of my favourite bands.
