Ive already submitted to him multiple times that if he really wants revenge on us as a group for OOC crap, he should start a new group with a new character and an original/good storyline. Maybe our troops killed his parents, maybe his homeworld was phaged, something that would make some sort of sense.

Your analogy doesn't hold water, because TRF is very liberal in how it allows people to play their characters, but it is not liberal in letting people mess with the timeline of a role-play.

No, but I am allowed to ask him to be present when an RP about his planet is happening, and if he can't be bothered to be present, then allow the person who was covering his rear to complete their job.

And, I am allowed to tell my fellow RP'ers that they may not 'reach back' in time and state that something happened previously.



You can huff and puff, and blow all you want, but it won't change my objection. Kyric's post amounts to four paragraphs of "I have ten bajillion ships, the planet is locked down, owned sucka."

Now, if Kyric had stuck up a detailed post that had a decent history of Kessel since BDE took it over, about what has been happening, and perhaps (shock, horror, gasp) actually tried to contribute something constructive to the timeline and storyline of the RP he posted in, I wouldn't have an issue, and if I did, it would have been ironed out by now.

But he didn't, so I do.

That's BS, Kas, and you know it. If you're allowed to play a Jedi simply because you want to, then Kyric is certainly allowed to lock down his planet, especcially in the face of a rather convincing list of valid reasons for doing so.

Kyric's post never states he's gone back in time. From the thread, one can assume the timeline is a week or so, at most. Therefor, Kyric's post can be taken to say "with the arrival of Lord Zen's flagship (now), the planet was effectively under lockdown."

There is no effect on the timeline of the story.

Simply put, from this moment forward, Kessel is under lockdown. Why? Because BDE is setting the system up to build a Death Star! They are clearly going to begin procedures to defend the system before they start building their super weapon.

Your argument holds absolutely no water. You're trying to say that because Kyric didn't post with a complete list of every ship, prison guard, and location of survalliance camera at the beginning of the thread, he's not allowed to dictate how things are run on his own planet.

Kessel is a prison planet. The word lockdown should not have to be said in the RP at all - it should be taken as a given. That applies even assuming that they are not preparing to build a Death Star. The latter simply enforces the fact that the place is defended.

He does give a good agrument.
