"And what, Jedi, makes you think they did? You Jedi are just the Order's last breath, before someone decides to you out again." Silus attacked once more, bring his lightsabers down in a diagonal slash at the Jedi's head.

Jedi Master
Silus used the momentum of Vodo's block to spin around the attack. He brought the heel of his foot into contact with Vodo's head, knocking him back a few inches.

Vodo parried the slash upward, redirecting Silus's lightsabers downward. Then, standing up quickly, Vodo used the momentum to lash out, punching Silus in his chin, sending the Sith stumbling back a foot or so, and giving Vodo some room to work with.
"ANd who would try to destroy them again? The Sith have nowhere near the power they once possesed."

"Yes, but while we continue to increase in power, you Jedi are losing your members one by one every day," Silus said with a smirk, "Into our loving embrace."
He lashed out again, the saber in his left hand slashing upward in a diagonal anlge. He kept his other to the side, ready to use it to attack the Jedi's vulnerable spot should he decide to block.

Vodo stepped to one side, the upward slash missing him by a few inches, which left a vunerable spot Silus left side. Vodo took the advantage and slashed with his stick as hard as he could to that side.
"Here is one Jedi who you will not kill so easily, however." Vodo responded.

Jedi Master
Silus grunted as the staff struck his left side. There was a and an intense pain coming from his chest as one of his ribs snapped. He held back a cough, instead slashing with his right arm into Vodo's exposed shoulder.
The Sith frowned, the blade had only slashed into the shoulder, but it wouldn't be . Silus delivered a swift kick to Vodo's chest, freeing his lightsaber from the Jedi's shoulder.
"Yes, unfortunately, you seem to have some sort of false hope left. Obviously you don't seem to notice that you have already lost.
You've spared the life and maybe, just maybe, stopped his reign of . But there are but he is just one of millions that continue to do the same. So, while you fight me Jedi in your little struggle for your Light, the Sith Order still stands. The Empire still stands, and always will. And there is nothing you can do about it. You Jedi are constantly declaring that you hope for peace. But when the first sign of peace comes, you declare it evil and join the nearest flock of angry villagers and do whatever you can to tear it down. And yet, even still, it comes back! Your Light fights against the Dark, and you win a few battles, but it still comes back! You're fighting a losing battle. You're just tossing stones against Star Destroyers! Can't you even see this, Jedi? Why fight, when you can try and join us? Join us, join the victors. Tell me, why did you become a Jedi? To be a warrior of peace? And yet, you prefer war. What is the sense to that, Jedi?"

Jedi Master
Vodo backed off, favoring his right side where the lightsaber had pierced him. He held his stick up defensively, he finally felt his strength giving out. This fight was done for him.
"The Jedi will rise again. We can never be extinguished..." Vodo said, still backing away to one part of the darkened alley.
"Watch your back, my friend... and remember..." Vodo back away a bit more, most of his body enshrouded in darkness, "Stay in the light."
Then he was gone.

Jedi Master
Then he was gone.
Silus frowned, the Jedi had finally had enough. He was unsure of how much longer he could have listened to the Jedi's spouting of principles.
Watch my back? Rather aggressive for a Jedi.
"Tsk tsk tsk," Silus spoke to noone in particular, "His master's not going to be too happy about that."
The battle had went well for him, though he had a few injuries to take care of. And there was the matter of his ed rib, which still seemed intent on screaming in pain. The Sith paid no more attention to it. He had seeded the Jedi's doubts, all that was left to do was see what happened next.
Silus turned, gathering his cloak about him once more.
