Gue, you cunning villain, you. I can't do it! I've tried three times and failed to write a response to my attack on Chandaar. Those people of yours are a damn shield, is what they are! You know, you know I can't bring myself to harm the innocent! A pregnant couple! Idealistic youth! Where the hell are the bloodthirsty warmongers and those launching bio-bombs? Where's the Daemuns?! You know, you could just hold you fire, and let BDE with their shields chop your forces to pieces. You would lose the battle, but the propaganda from this spineless act would easily set off whatever public images you would have lost from the earlier low blows.

Then what's the problem? If they don't fear some kind of retribution in the afterlife or whatever, then why not kill the suckers? Plus they don't know that there are pregnant people on the ships.

Yeah, but I know. My guys don't know, and I imagine Panacka would be the sort to fight anyways for the greater good, but I personally can't bring myself to write a story where I shoot at people who don't deserve it. Hell, that's why I've fought against the phage so hard - I can take casualties in battle, but writing about the sufferign and death of my own civilian population... I just can't do it. Well, not very good, anyways. It would be better to say I really, really don't want to do it.
