It the fact that Jacen Solo is made to be 'Near Godlike' as is the rest of the Skywalker family. Why? Because they're central characters that people connect to and are the focus of the story. This doubles to Beff's point that it's a public forum, because we are trying to create a setting where EVERY character is a central character in their own way and therefore we must keep things balanced.

Basically, it is the worry that your time travel ability will just result in pain and suffering and although you claim you will not God Mod, it is the fact that you are NEW TO TRF. I will accent this point. I myself had 6 years of previous RP experience and had to take a while to convert to the TRF standard so please bear with us and you can make a smooth transition to an acceptable character.

Another reason this Time Jumping will be seen as troublesome is that it will make adding large things your character does to the official timeline all the more tedious and may just result in us ignore a large variety of what your character does.

FURTHER MORE, the fact you took on a large number of Jedi as a youngling raises many questions. Why? You are a youngling and by TRF standards, that means very limited in power. And if you say 'Just a freak thing of the Force' then I'm sorry, if in one RP you have that as an excuse for two rediculous things you are setting my view from TRF experience with you to a bit more skeptical of your ability as to handle the wide effects that is the time space continuim.

How long? Unless you are willing to compromise on the Time Travel thing it will likely be a very long time indeed. As I said, there's a storyline going on right now you can use as a reason for the one time freak occurance of time travel, but that won't be going on forever and the Force will eventually return to normal and you will have lost your chance. It's up to you to take it. If you can't bring yourself to accept a compromise on this issue then I'm sorry but you need to learn to let go and accept that you can't have everything.

You seem very determined to keep your character the way you want him to be with no compromise, which from the looks of things means you will not bode well here at all if you persist. Tell me...are you even considering even thinking about a compromise on your character?

As for the other questions:

I don't fleet (currently, that may change once my characters join a group *glances at Jan*), but Fleeting is not a requirement to RP here. I've been here at well over a year (or is it two years?) now and have yet to do a fleet RP. Therefore I can't really answer that question, though I'll hazard a guess to say that I believe it's a sort of honor system. Trust me, any questions about a fleeter's actions are usually brought up in the OOC forumer pretty quick.

First, some people start threads that have (open) in the title, that means anyone can join in if they want to. Second, if you see a thread you want to get in on and doesn't have (Closed) in the title you can ask the thread starter if you can join in. You may also get into RPs that have have specific names in () in the title the same way, but your chances of being accepted in are slimmer. We have threads that are restricted to having just 'anyone' joining because the writer have something specific to write and the more people in it the more likely the storyline will get screwed up. Even with (open) threads you have to be careful to not ruin the storyline when you join in: it's always a good idea to read the whole thread first and ask questions before jumping in.

If I stay here how long will it take until I'm allowed to write this story?

That is entirely up to you, though you seem to be overlooking or otherwise dismissing the obeservations, opionions and suggestions of the other members here abouts. So...

How are you meant to fight other fleet groups when you don't give a set number of ships? What's preventing anyone from calling up infinite reinforcements and the like? Especially with groups like TNO?

Fleeting is covered in the Rules and you are not endearing youself to anyone with comments like that. But to answer your question; common sense.
