What in the hell was he supposed to do with a toaster-thing? Dolash hurled it against the wall in panic, and his thoughts broke down into a gooey jello-like substance. What did this little walk even have to DO with Jedi training? What was he learning besides complete and utter fear and panic? He had to pull himself together and act fast.
One pulling-of-self-together later, Dolash concentrated once more. This time, his master was not there to guide him, and his search came out jumbled. Everything was blurry and unclear, it was hopeless.
A wall-panel nearby blew off and went flying towards him. He ducked, and it sliced into the wall. He didn't have much time, whatever was going on it seemed prepared to tear down the building long before the explosion went off. He concentrated once more, forcing his thoughts into harmony, but once again everything came apart. A sharp pain stabbed into his head as a blood-vessel exploded somewhere from too much concentration.
Too much concentration... thought the left half of his brain.
That's it! Grabbing control of the body once more, Dolash's left side immeadietly had the body go limp. He stopped focussing, stoped thinking, just plain stopped, even as metal whirrled dangerously about him. The only thing he did was call on the force.
And it responded. It worked without his imput, he didn't have to force it. He let it flow through him, work for him, and the facility came into focus. Casting a force-eye across the building, he saw what he was looking for, the detonator.
Opening his eyes, he drew his sword and with an almighty swing cut a hole into the wall. Leaping through, he pressed through the facility at full tilt. Letting the force flow through him, he jumped jagged metal, dodged loose bolts flying free, and ducked beams of metal that came out of the wall. Kicking down another door, he rolled into what appeared to be a lab. Grabbing a ticking black device covered in wires from the table, he hurled it to the ground and stamped it into oblivion.
The ticking stopped. He breathed a sigh of relief. Then a jagged iron girder came loose and shot through his left leg.
Cursing followed.
