And I still like and read all of the Star Wars Novels. But I'm mainly in it for the characters, ship technology, and space battles.

The Empire is no more. It merged and became a part of the Galatic Federation of Free Alliances during the YH war. It is no longer the Empire in name, that is, but it still exists, and is now more powerful that it was before the YH war.

I like the cover art. Cover art has always given me a hard-on.
Harrison is ripe as Han now, too.

The next Star Wars alien invasion series had better have some fucking clone troopers in it. They ruled. Not dumbass stormtroopers either. I'm talking about some slick, Attack of the Clones armor (the only redeemer to an otherwise sucky movie and DVD). Oh, and for the love of god, GIVE UP ON THE SKYWALKER FAMILY!!! Storyline wise, they should all be dead by now, anyway. Get something like a Plo Koon guy, an Ackbar guy, and the token black dude. Plus a hot jedi chick. Just for the hell of it.
Resident Spammer: feel free to torture, maim or simply ignore.

The Slothful Padawan
Heh. Make Irtar the next hero in their novel series! He'd be the most greatest Star Wars hero ever! Everyone would be saying 'What-walker'? (If that's from the head trauma caused by Irtar's clumsiness or not is a matter for a different debate.
)

Vance Jas; Sith Lord
Yeah.
I wouldn't read it.

Bounty Hunter
No, but it'd make great TP overseas in one of Americas many Police actions.

Minister of Defence
I still enjoy the books. The problem with bringing back the clone troopers for a new series, unless its based before a New Hope, which they currently have a bunch of books about, is that Clone Troopers are old, and symbolize the Clone Wars, which led to the rise of the Empire, a time which the Galactic Alliance of Free Worlds (or whatever) would prefer not to remember. Plus nobody trusts clones and think that they are creepy.

The Slothful Padawan
That's because they're mandalorians. No one trusts a mandalorian. *nods*

Bounty Hunter
Mandalorians trust other Mandalorians. Leadership/Incarnation.
Mandalorians trust themselves, and when you think about it; that's all that counts. If you disagree, I'll fucking kill you.

And I'll laugh.
