At this point in time, what I think alot of people were looking at was the fact that we were in the middle of a rather aggravated world-state, and that to switch the leadership of the country around wouldn't be such a good idea.
I'm sorry, but the statistics state Moral Values as the main reason Bush was voted back in. Not the war.
As for the rest of us, I hate to speak for so many, but what I was looking at was a sudden fanatical violence against someone who was appointed to his position by AMERICA. And who we let kill people for as long as it suited AMERICA. While our people were lied to. And I can't speak for anyone else, but when AMERICA suddenly came up with false yellowcake reports that were almost immediately and easily proven false, I felt betrayed by that. By my president.

Now, why would I vote for someone who has betrayed me. I wouldn't. And I simply can't understand how anyone else could do such a thing.

I said that that's what I thought the reason people voted for Bush were looking at. I have no idea what tipped their scales and made them choose how they did. But it's apparent who they did vote for after the fact, and there's really nothing that can be done about it. Not everyone is the same, and everyone thinks differently. So you felt betrayed? Very well. That's how you feel - and others more then likely feel the same way. But take into account that there are people in this country that don't feel that way, and from the looks of things, a majority of those people didn't feel the same as you.

If, however, you have any links to these statistics, I would very much like to see them.

A very small majority.

I don't have links to any statistics, my only reference is every article I've read about it so far.
