GTA: SA has turned the series into too much of a RPG. Not that its a bad game, but I'm always more partial to the lack of thinking required to play GTA3 and Vice City.

Hardly anything's changed, most of the RPG type features improve the game drastically rather than drag it down.
It's so good that I've sat in the house with an IV drip in my arm while squatting over a bucket since last friday.

Ren: I'm not going to lie and say "OMGWTF GTA: SA SUX0RZ ND IF J00 PLAEY IT J00 SUX0RZ TW0!!!!111!!11oneone". I think San Andreas is probably a very great game. And neither can I try to compare Halo 2 and San Andreas, because they're two completely different games. Sure, they're both shooters, but not much else is the same. San Andreas is a game set in the early 90s and based in an imitation state of California. Halo 2 is a game set five hundred years into the future based on planet Earth, the moon, and these giant fucking ring objects.
Which one am I definitely going to enjoy more? Halo 2. Probably because I don't have a PS2 anymore, though...son of a bitch...
