Drayson, the staff has been informed of the insane damages you posted. The thread is on hold until they rule on it.

My two cents:
One reason why the SY's were decided at 40,000 km was because (I believe) there was no ship size limit at the time.
IC (though for storyline purposes only) TNSO had a 30km warship (and though not allowed by staff to interact in fleet rps, it did have to be built somewhere).
If you wanted to arrive at a smaller number (through logic) I don't know why you picked 4,000 km. How would ESD's (the largest ships able to be produced currently) at over 17,000km be able to be built then? At that size, you could fit the shipyard inside an ESD.
Now THAT opens up some possibilites... alas..
That being said, I will have to check and see what damages are being contested here.
Kas, I note that there was no mention of the 20% shield thing with the VCD on your list of damages a little ways above. That might also help the players better assess damages here.

Omnae, I have already accepted the size, even though I disagree with it. And Gash, I must say I am very offended by your post. All I was asking for was clarification, since no one has ever officially stated what the size of the yards were. All I wanted was for a staff member to tell me what the size was.
