Jasmine giggles again and nods.

"Of course. I understand well how some things must be kept quiet. Tis the same way at the empire, I am afraid.

Risking ones life to keep things quiet is always in our nature. But sometimes, it can be ones downfall as well, when some things are not meant to be kept quiet."

That is when the Grand Moff comes over to speak with her. She nods to him in greeting and smiles softly.

"Thank you, kind Sir. I wish you well also. Please, do stay and enjoy the party."

"That must be the Grand Moff... interesting"

Kas sipped his drink once again; the memory of where he had had it before still tickled in the back of his mind. Unable to pull it out, he gave up. "Whatever it is, it sure is good."

He had left a small link between Jai and himself, and although this link was small it now informed him that she had ceased to speak, and was looking in his direction. A grin spread over Kas’ face.

"Don't be an Andor chicken. Just walk over to the south side. Grab one of those yellow glasses with the blue drink. They're quite good."

This time, he released the link completely, and moved his attention elsewhere. He continued to scan the crowed, watching the happy beings enjoying themselves. "I wonder how many are truly friends of the Hapens?"

"I am afraid I have matters of state to attend to. I do, however, wish you well on your reign as Queen Mother."

The Grand Moff flourished another bow then departed as quickly as he had arrived. Things had to be done, and he had to be the one to do them. Urgent matters and developments required his imediated attention.

Dakkon watched as the Imperial Representative came and left. Indeed one of such stature would be in a rush, although it did irk Dakkon that he did not stay to enjoy their hosbitality. With a smile, he picked up his drink, sipping it slowly. His eyes spoke volumes as he watched his wife talk.

Jai smirked at the force-message she received from Kas. She was beginning to have a slight thing for him, and she hoped he didn't notice. She wanted to go see him, but she didn't want to be rude to Dak and the Queen. She had to think fast...

"This certainly is a lovely place you have here. It makes my place at Uni-Sol look like a sleezy Nar Shaddaa dive."

Ah! I'm so bad at chit-chat...What am I suppose to say?!? Oy vey, I'm blushing. Figures. Kas! Come over here and save me! I'm running out of things to say!

Jai stood there, fidgeting with her glass and tapping the toe of her high heels, looking very nervous and vulnerable...

Dakkon smiled, noting the womans discomfort. Deciding to pity her, his hands slipped up his wifes back.

"Care to dance Jasmine?"

Without awaiting a reply he swept her off towards the dancing throng.

Oh, praise you, Dakkon!, Jai thought to herself. She felt alot better, royals had always made her a bit nervous, even her own mother. But enough about that...

She could now go over to that south corner and see what was up...Jai decided to do as told, and grabbed a glass of that blue stuff. She took a sip as she made her way over to where Kas' presence was and, oddly enough, actually liked it. Mind you, a soda would have suited her just fine, but this was just as good.

As she turned to the south something light reflected on her face.

Don't bother, he looks like a putz to me. And hell, its more fun out here anyway!

She turned around confused, looking for the source of the emanations.

Out here, the gardens. I wouldn't be seen dead inside.

With a smile, Lupercus flashed her face again, revealing his position.

Jai was so confused. She looked outside...then at the dance floor...

How the frell is Dakkon on the dance floor and....what!?!?

A putz? How dare he! Why that little...Whoever you are, you better hush before I come out there and start something., she sent back at him.
