Kamon steeped back into the clearing. His arms still held the firewood, and a smile was on his face.

"Very good. You pass the test. I don't know that I would have acted the same way, but it was very interesting."

He dropped the wood into a pile in the middle of camp and started a fire. It blazed to life throwing a glow on the now dark area. It also provided warmth.

"I forgot about your ability with animals. Had I known, I would have stopped you from using them. You won't always be able to call animals to your aid. That reason is why I'm here. To train you for those times. But now, we eat."

He put some food on the fire, and sat back stirring it, All the while he was thinking about what had happened. He owul have to break jacen's need for animals.

I sat down, crossed my arms, and let my eyes fall to the ground. Slowly, they lifted themselves to stare at the fire, and I let myself think about his words.

Way to go, Jace. You cannot even pass a test, a simple first level test, without depending on someone or something else. It's the same old story.

I shook my head, and then took a bowl out from the supplies. I picked up the spoon, and helped myself to some of the stew, and then got out another spoon to eat with.

"Thanks."

Still depending....

Kamon took some of the stew as well, but set it down beside him. He needed to talk to Jacen.

'I've noticed something about you. You don't think very highly of yourself. I didn't say you didn't pass the test. You passed, but there are other things you need to learn. Don't be so hard on yourself."

He took a bight of the stew.

"Besides. If you don't, you won't be paying attention at some point and you will get yourself killed, and I know you don't like that. Trust me, you will do good. All you have to do is believe in yourself."

I didn't bring my eyes up to face Kam's gaze. I looked away, into the dark forest, feeling all the life. I sighed,

"You're right, of course."

I clamped my mouth shut, and tooka bite of the stew, letting the warmth wave through me. I swollowed it, and then put down my bowl.

"I need to go for a walk."

I stood up, knowing that if Kam minded, he could stop me easily. I walked away from the camp, and looked back over my shoulder, I didn't see Kam, but I saw the outline of the camp. I took a deep breath, and let my head hit the tree, resting it in place. I turned so that my back was on the trunk of the tree, and looked up at the sky.

It's so simple to just sit here and look up at the stars. No worries, no death, just silence. Oh, how I wish that I could just stay here forever. No thinking about my feelings for other people...nothing.

Kamon didn't stop him. He understood what Jacen was going through. He would give him some time and space.

He finished off his stew and climbed into his tent. His cot was set up. It had a few unwanted residents, but he removed them quickly.

They would cause no harm, but he didn't want to hurt them either. He lay down, and looked up at the canopy. His mind was on his Padawan.

His thoughts were disturbing. His padawan had something about him that was disturbing him but he knew it had to be an internal struggle. He understood full well what he was going through.

Soon enough, he was dreaming. His dreams were dark and dangerous. Some of them brought to him through the Force, some were just ordinary dreams. He wouldn't sleep well this night.

I turned back to face the camp as I heard the sound of Kamon's tent closing up. I let out a sigh, because now I knew that I was truely alone. In just a little while he would be asleep. I let the time pass by moving small objects with the Force, slowly upgrading them in size. I smiled at my progress, and then checked in on Kamon.

Asleep...not a sound sleep, but sleeping none the less.

I stood up from my spot, and then walked past the campground, quietly, not making a noise. The wind was starting to pick up, and it felt as if it was going to storm, but it was not raining yet. I had some time to make my way into town. I pulled on a new outfit, and then safely tucked my lightsaber out of sight. I started down the path that led me back to the small village we past through on our way in. I pulled my hood over my head as the rain drops started to fall.

The closest bar I found was not the type that I usually favoured, but then again, it was raining hard now, and I needed something alcoholic, so it was my only option.

I need to be quick too, I need to be back before morning. Maybe by then I can talk to Kam about these feeings...or not...

*A lone Lambda Shuttle finally reached back into real space, where it had jumped out over Hapes.*

"Lambda shuttle, please state business and transmit landing codes."

"I'm with Prince Kamon's party, I sorta got here late. Transmitting codes now."

*Moments Later*

"Alright Admiral Kiborn, you're free to land we'll send you the coordinates where Prince Kamon landed."

"Thank you."

*With that the shuttle landed down on the planet, and sure enough there was Kamon's shuttle.*

"Hmm but now comes the tricky part, finding Kamon."

Kamon woke up multiple times that night. Not because of the rain or anything outside. Mostly because of the dreams.

Each time, he noticed that his Padawan was not in the camp. He had said he wanted to go for a walk. Kamon didn't take much by it and left it at that.

The drinks where not what I had needed. As it turned out, it made my worse, and mid way through the night I had decided that I was going to walk back through the forest towards the camp, before Kamon could find out I had left. As I approached I heard a shuttle landing by our encampment, and I ran to hide behind a tree to watch. It hadn't taken long to figure out who it was that had came to join us. I stepped out from behind the tress, and walked forward.

"Areis, nice to see you here."

"Well isn't it always nice to see me. Because usually if ya don't, you end up dead."

"Well thats if I don't like you.''

*The two had a little chuckle*

"Getting on with it. The reason I'm here is to tell Kamon that Rogue Master Gash Jiren has detected my ability to use the Force and has accepted me into the Rogue Jedi Order."
